Kimura catch if they don’t stay heavy, instead of trying to finish it, use your elbow to push them over your stomach enough to make space pull your leg into half guard, then work the Kimura. If you’re rolling with SR disregard this

帯を掴んでおくことで、バランスの悪い体勢でも錨の役割で崩れることを防止できる。(動画内のデモでは、ジェイクが右肩でプレッシャーをかけて相手の左側面のサイドポジションを取りにいく時に、左足を抜く為に体勢が乱れる。この時に錨の役割が無ければ崩れてしまう。)

Yes. It works no gi
so simple, so easy
can this tech be used nogi? should be slippery when wet... no grips.
In no gi you can reach under the lower back and then but the should pressure.
any risk of a kimura on that arm that's doing the belt grip?
If you keep your elbow of the belt grip hand closed tight on your side and dont let your opponent turn on his side towards you while you are applying pressure, then there is no way that your opponent can get the kimura grip.
