The Irish Guy takes a look at every Premier League club, and finds one ex-player who should manage them. Business enquiries: irishguybusiness@gmail.com
prob none. Im srry but id rather die than have someone like steve bruce or g.neville take over our club. Their the typr of ppl who are going to sign jordan henderson for 70 million pounds because hes english
The Gingerbread Man from Shrek getting ready to show Irish Guy his 2044/45 Premier League winning Chester team with Austrian wonderkid Müffing Mann getting Dixie Dean numbers.
Sean Dyche was in the youth setup as Forest, never got a cap for us but in this wacky setup of over 10 managers with no prem experience being thrust into the job he’d probably keep us up
Deschamps did go to Juventus when they were relegated to Serie B, and coached them for a year. However, that was him at the beginning of his managerial career, and he did play for them for 5 years, so, while I could see him helping out another former team, I doubt he'd do it for Chelsea, since he only played there for one year
@@franze4 He has them 3rd level on points with Ajax. I guess in Europe he finished second to a small club called Arsenal despite beating them and ended up facing Sevilla and losing 3-2 on aggregate. All this while PSV made 100M+ in transfers this year while investing less than 10M back into buying players.
I started watching Bayer a while ago, almost at the same time when they started winning, if Xabi could make Liverpool play like Bayer does.. Hopefully one day.
He hates the hipster managers. But Brighton aren't a bad team now that they have a better manager than Clueless Potter. Potter will do well at Soton. Making them a top half team like he did Brighton but that is his ceiling.
Roberto mancini Hated his rime at Leicester 😅 not only were we the only club he never scored for but he hated Taylor so much he left to go to florintina 😅😅 I think he'd rather take a bath with the local priest than he would come and manage us 😅😊
Xabi Alonso for Liverpool is a better choice then Stevie G, at least at this time. Yes, Gerrard won the Scottish Prem, but in its current form - Xabi to the roof.
Yeah the Newcastle one is a bit of a stinker tbf. I would almost try and get James Milner to retire and do it I get the feeling he might make a good coach. Other thought is maybe big Duncan Ferguson he did ok as a caretaker at Everton.
For Brighton I'd've thought Bruno would be a shout as far as 1 game in management, 1 draw. Considering Nathan Jones was the pick, I'm sure Brighton would take a roll of the dice with Bruno 🤣
Daily Potter news: Tottenham are also in the race for Graham Potter with the London club looking for a replacement for Conte. This may be the second time the North London outfit have tried to move for the 47 years old after it was speculated that Spurs tried to bring Potter to London 2 years ago but now since Potter is on a free the door maybe open for Potter to be Tottenham manager. However, Vincent Kompany is the 1st choice manager that Spurs want to replace Conte with, and other managers shortlisted if they don't get Kompany are Arne Slot, Mauricio Pochettino, Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique. the chances of Potter joining spurs is low in my opinion.
Paul Ince is more experienced, but it’s not true to say there’s nobody else from Wolves. Another option is Fernando Gómez, one of my favourite players when he was at Valencia and who played a season at Wolves. He’s coached in Spain’s lower leagues (as has Ince in England’s lower league!)
Have to say I thought you were going to say Lee bowyer, he was the only one aside from mark Jackson but jacko was a youth and then first team coach at Leeds but not the manager
Wolves' best ever manager who was an ex player was Stan Cullis in the 1950s. Stan Cullis' Wolves beat Real Madrid in those 5 years where Real Madrid won the champions league consecutively.
12:03 yeah right most psv fans want him to be sacked since with the squad we have we should challenge for the title. Also it seems like he has no tactics and is unable to motivate players.
Mikel Arteta is not a legendary Arsenal player, and I have no idea why people think this. He is a legendary *Everton* player, but was completely washed up when he came to the Emirates. People put him in the same class as Viera, Ljungberg and Fabregas and have done since before he became Arsenal manager and I don’t really know why.
Irish Guy calling Vincent Kompany a succes at Anderlecht, Christ Above. The facts are simple. He didnt qualify for the Conference League and never challenged for the titel. He also finished midtable in his two seasons as a coach. He wanted to move back to England as soon as possible as shown in the documentary about his first season. The most painful thing is that even he failed at his comeback as a player, because he was injured and he thought he could be a player/manager, which he soon realised he couldn't.
He finished third his two seasons at Anderlech (runner up for a belgian cup one season) pretty good for a team that finished 9° as soon as he left . His biggest mistake was getting Nasri but cant blame the guy , when they were together at City Nasri was class , then he was banned so at the moment it might seem like a good oportunity for a comeback . Too bad nasri was a pain in the ass rather than the club big star that was supposed to be , but well chadli was cool
Chelsea: If not Deschamps, how about John Terry? He did his time as an assistant to Dean Smith. Fulham: Do you really want Scott Parker back? He's Dim Tim Sherwood v2 who looks better.
What ex-player would ye all want as your club's manager?
Legends.

Xabi Alonso is unproven but he could turn out to be good enough to do a decent job at Liverpool.
Happy with mikel
Graham Potter
Summarizing Benny McCarthy by being only a "former Blackburn striker" when he won the Champions League is the most Irish Guy thing ever.
did anybody else miss these kind of videos ..most random but highly interesting topics about all the premier league clubs .
Yeah these are my favourite kind of videos and its a shame he rarely does them nowadays
Hodgson has forgotten more about football than Southgate knows
ffs 😂
The Gingerbread Man from Shrek getting ready to show Irish Guy his 2044/45 Premier League winning Chester team with Austrian wonderkid Müffing Mann getting Dixie Dean numbers.
Wtf is this comment 💀💀
The fact that Man Utd do not have an ex-player who turned out to be a top class manager is baffling tbh
El Neville
@@randymarsh27who
Micheal Carrick seems promising
In a few years would Erickson count?
I thought Keane would have done something, though he's probably better as a pundit tbh.
Sean Dyche was in the youth setup as Forest, never got a cap for us but in this wacky setup of over 10 managers with no prem experience being thrust into the job he’d probably keep us up
I’d have gone for Laurent Blanc for United because managed France, PSG, and Lyon
One thing I've learnt from this video is that John o shea played for Bournemouth..
It's massively unlikely but I'd love chelsea to appoint Deschamps one day
Deschamps did go to Juventus when they were relegated to Serie B, and coached them for a year. However, that was him at the beginning of his managerial career, and he did play for them for 5 years, so, while I could see him helping out another former team, I doubt he'd do it for Chelsea, since he only played there for one year
he’s like 75 and has a long term deal with france
@@bobgeezer lol he's still in his 50s
@@NIDELLANEUM he’s 54 what💀
@@bobgeezer yeah, it's just that he looked middle aged when he won Euros and World Cup in his 30s
Takes me back to the HITC days these type of videos
Yep, and I love these types of videos!
as an everton fan, Arteta and Dunc combination would be ace
Apparently before bringing in Dyche, we considered a Baines/Dunc combination
Ruud Van Nistelrooy is doing wonders at PSV fr 😊
i thought psv fans didn’t like him
@@franze4

Xabi Alonso literally got Nagelsmann sacked, pretty crazy shit 😂😂
Xabi Alonso managing Liverpool when we still have TAA & Bajcetic? That's gonna be awesome.
Bruno Saltor should be Birghton one...he have 100% undefeated record in EPL
He also has no goals and 1 point.
Did I eat moldy bread for lunch? Did I hear Irish Guy say something nice about Brighton?
He hates the hipster managers. But Brighton aren't a bad team now that they have a better manager than Clueless Potter. Potter will do well at Soton. Making them a top half team like he did Brighton but that is his ceiling.
I think as a Brighton fan I'd rather take a chance on Bruno then either of those two
He almost beat Liverpool Tbf I was expecting Bruno
i love you on the kick-off! keep it up.
Roberto mancini Hated his rime at Leicester 😅 not only were we the only club he never scored for but he hated Taylor so much he left to go to florintina 😅😅 I think he'd rather take a bath with the local priest than he would come and manage us 😅😊
No he fell in Love with the English game at Leicester that's why he became Man City manager
@cleanstance no, he didn’t he litrally did an interview saying he hated his time at Leicester city as a player
I was convinced he was going to go for Klinsmann for Spurs as well.
Klinsmann could go for Inter as well since he played for them
Klinsmann is awful in club football but international football his mid
He's currently managing Son Heung Min at South Korea as well, pretty interesting 😂
Benny McCarthy won the Champs league with mourinho's Porto
Xabi Alonso for Liverpool is a better choice then Stevie G, at least at this time. Yes, Gerrard won the Scottish Prem, but in its current form - Xabi to the roof.

It would be funny seeing Keano kick JLinz (or anyone not serious) off the bus in Southampton.
Love how Scott Parker is bounced around for many clubs and never got the gig
Roy keane to Lingard day 2 in training: "stop fecking dancing around like a prat or ill Alfie inge Haaland ye 😂
Rob Edwards could have been a shout for wolves. Spent 4 years at wolves between 2004 to 2008 as a player in the championship for them
No mention of Mark Robins for Man U is painful
He played for the club 31 years ago, so he falls just out of the timeframe
My club would unfortunately replace Carlos Corberan with Graham Potter.
Westbrom fan welcome to the club
Great video idea mate
wake up babe, The Irish Guy posted a new video
After emery is done I’d take edwards in a heartbeat!
I was waiting for him to say Southgate so yes. I take it from this Villa hater!
For Brighton I'd've thought Bruno would be a shout as far as 1 game in management, 1 draw. Considering Nathan Jones was the pick, I'm sure Brighton would take a roll of the dice with Bruno 🤣
I think it'd be better if u did this in a PL table format
Do a video predicting one current player from each premier league club who will go on to management.
7:30 Shoot-Out cards, that brings me back
Wow, watching this back now, his Liverpool prediction may be right
Daily Potter news: Tottenham are also in the race for Graham Potter with the London club looking for a replacement for Conte. Daily Potter news is the new trend this channel needs
@@carlbig3118 thanks 👍
Do a premier league table for these lists of managers
Toppling Rory Jennings? Has the Irish guy proposed the best mission ever? im so in
Bruno Saltor for Brighton surely?
Paul Ince is more experienced, but it’s not true to say there’s nobody else from Wolves. Another option is Fernando Gómez, one of my favourite players when he was at Valencia and who played a season at Wolves. He’s coached in Spain’s lower leagues (as has Ince in England’s lower league!)
Irish guy talk about wolves for more than 5 seconds challenge
Can you make content related to other leagues as well might help in channel growth
Always bugs me when the Irish guy confuses people that were arteta out with actual arsenal supporters
I was debating your villa choice because as a villa fan I would have picked someone like Olof Melberg
I’d take jt at villa!
I love how most of your wolves players/sections of this list end up being 4 second cameos 😂
i feel like defenders abd midfielders always make the best managers, its almost never attackers
Roy Keane was the assistant manager under Marin O'Neill at Nottingham Forest in 2019
Cool concept, you should apply this to football manager and see what happens.
Decent vid 🔥🔥
Nottingham Forest would've been Martin O'Neill if you didn't have the 30 years rule.
Arteta v Alonso would be amazing
10:14 Uhhhhhh..... You know who else was Ancelotti's assistant?
Have to say I thought you were going to say Lee bowyer, he was the only one aside from mark Jackson but jacko was a youth and then first team coach at Leeds but not the manager
Nathan Jones managed Brighton for a short spell
With Montella you're forgetting he took Sevilla into the CL quarterfinals, beating Mourinho's Man United.
Arsenal: Dennis Bergkamp
He forgot about him. Solid choice for project manager for club which needs to trust for it.
You need to start putting time tags irishbloke 😆
Rob Edwards would probably be a better choice for wolves considering he had over 100 appearances for the club and managed their u23s
I always feel bad for wolves in these videos no matter the topic they always get about 9 seconds before the video wraps up.
Wolves: Paul Ince. 😳
Deschamps at Chelsea would lowkey be fire
Tbh as a mufc fan I you were going to suggest Steve Bruce, Hemming Berg or Gary Neville
I learned that Scaloni played for champions league Deportivo de la Coruña 👍👍
As a Wolves fan I'd say Kenny Miller aswell
imo roseniors football with brightons squad would probably still have them top half of the prem
My team would have either be stuck with Roy Keane or Scott Brown
Joey Barton at newcastle least if he's there now there isn't any cigar burns on players ooh wait we still have dummett and Ryan fraser
My wife and I are in our 20th year together, but I think I could let her go before I could let Emery go. 😂😂😂 #UTFV
Love to see Roy Keane manage Forest.
So glad you wok indepentlly
Newcastle- Jonjo Shelvey
thought he'd pick shearer over potter for Southampton for the meme
Youve forgotten bruno from chelsea for brighton

Waiting for the Grealish shirt
Riise for L'pool
Waiting for prem predictions

He wasn't even that good as a player.
He was never anything special even at Everton. He was maybe slightly above average there. Doing much better at management than he did at playing.
Jack Wilshere or per Mertesacker for arsenal
Would woodgate not of been a better pick for Leeds
Leeds-Lucas Radebe
5:21 what about Bruno?
Mancity has frank lampard and kompany
I'm a Arsenal Fan - This should be good

Nathan jones managed Brighton for 2 games in 2014. Not losing 1 game. So surely he doesn’t count
bro vincenco montella is a good coach. Where are you getting your information from 😭😭😭
Kevin O’Connor for Brentford
Jurgen klinsmann for spurs?

Brighton Liam Rosenior for me

Rob Edwards for VIlla? Have you been drinking paint again?
