These are the kind of bands you used to see on the main stage, first or second during the day. Organisers need to give these bands a chance, this would have sounded mint through the line array
Yeah they’re great! They actually played their set on a much bigger stage. This was just one surprise performance they did of one song on the introducing stage
Just saw them on Nova Rock in Austria as third band of the day on one of the two main stages, so there you go. Was awesome btw, never heard them before and now I'm on a tear through their release history.
I believe it was a secret performance they announced on the day from what I remember from insta stories , I can only presume/hope they played bigger stages later that day!
I saw them in Swansea a week after this. I originally went to see you me at six and catfish and the bottle men who were the more main acts but feeder and yonaka were there and omfg what a fucking show !!!!
I had only heard of catfish and now I’m obsessed with Yonaka, You me a six and Feeder cause they were just so good. I don’t think that show can be beaten for me!

I think this band is really at its best when they get guitarryish like that. Also her voice is amazing and it really shines with this melody.
