Brock, Goldberg, and Taker segments were all total garbage, waste of actual talent, completely ruined good wrestlers for the sake of instant gratification of part timers who are old as dirt and can't even work 30 minute matches which is imo what counts for the standard of a solid main event match. Meaning none of these guys in their current state should be near main events at best they should be opening the show for nostalgia moments to maybe put over younger talent. The problem is that they waste these gimmick matches half of the time, & waste 90% of their talent all of the time. I cancelled my wwe subscription in protest of the Fiend losing and Asuka always getting screwed out of matches that she should win. I can just watch Simon's ups and downs and Asuka's highlights along with her channel Kanachantv on TH-cam. AEW and NWA have much better storylines.

I totally agree with everything you said about Corbin vs Reigns, and I feel like you could say similar things about a lot of Reigns feuds that some people hate. That he often puts on consistently very ok if not pretty decent or good work, and I still think that if it wasn't for creative and the super pushes, he could have easily naturally became a character that people liked/were interested in rather than becoming such a divisive character like Cena.
If you are booked as a big guy in WWE you are doomed to have mediocre to bad matches since the day you retire. I bet Reigns can do a lot more than just the three movies WWE allows him to pull off.

Honestly NXT isn't much better right now, and probably about to get worse since I think they intend on doing a draft after Mania which will take away some of or most of the talent people like on NXT, then knowing the WWE they will fill it with a bunch of older people or part timers to try and beat AEW in the ratings.
I'm quite certain that won't happen. it's probably all part of the deal that a Saudi guy has to win at least one match per PPV so they can feel a bit better about themselves.

The only way I can think of to clean up this loss to Goldberg is if The Fiend interferes with John Cena's return and then they both start a feud they can build up to Wrestlemania, Goldberg and Roman Reigns then start a feud they can also build up at Wrestlemania. Then The Fiend defeats John Cena and since The Fiend changes his opponents there can be a John Cena heel turn. Goldberg defeats Roman Reigns (which is very unlikely just like the rest of this please don't hurt me) then Goldberg will deliver a promo that The Fiend will interfere setting up a feud for the next ppv.

It's awesome to see young talents like undertaker and Goldberg finally getting a push.... Respect to old heads like Aj and The fiend letting these young guys make a name for themselves.
When Bray lost, at the same time i lost all my interest in WWE, i was really hyped for mania but now i even expect them to feed drew to lesnar. They signed a 10 year deal with Saudi but after that the company will be dead for good. Thanks WWE for ruining what we love.
Sounds like how I was after HIAC last year. Started watching AEW exclusivly since then and don't regret it.
After Wrestlemania I'm done. Not watching again until Summerslam. And if that doesn't impress me I'll be gone again until next season after the draft or whatever.

How so? Besides the ending and the surprise taker showing every other match ended as everyone wanted. We actually got Miz and Morrison as tag champs fucking sweet.
None of those matches were worth the price of admission.
@@therealogre765 The WWE title match was unnecessary the way it went down. When the promos and ring entrance last way longer than the match itself, that's a huge letdown. Also, Undertaker showing up wasn't really a surprise. He's one of the ambassadors of shows like that.

WWE has had some great concepts. (Royal Rumble, MITB, Elimination Chamber, KOTR). The problem is that they waste these gimmick matches half of the time, & waste 90% of their talent all of the time. Vince basically destroyed it by saying it isn't wrestling, it's sports entertainment, then gearing it towards children.

I cancelled my wwe subscription in protest of the Fiend losing and Asuka always getting screwed out of matches that she should win. I can just watch Simon's ups and downs and Asuka's highlights along with her channel Kanachantv on TH-cam. AEW and NWA have much better storylines.

@Claren Dennis AEW hasn't even gotten out of its own way when it comes to its own women's division. You are straight up kidding yourself. Going to AEW isn't going to guarantee anybody anything. Ppl swore Shawn Spears would be huge in AEW as well, and he's basically doing no better there than he was in WWE.

I totally agree with everything you said about Corbin vs Reigns, and I feel like you could say similar things about a lot of Reigns feuds that some people hate. That he often puts on consistently very ok if not pretty decent or good work, and I still think that if it wasn't for creative and the super pushes, he could have easily naturally became a character that people liked/were interested in rather than becoming such a divisive character like Cena.
If you are booked as a big guy in WWE you are doomed to have mediocre to bad matches since the day you retire. I bet Reigns can do a lot more than just the three movies WWE allows him to pull off.

He was trying to set up a match for himself at Wrestlemania to get extra pay :) that's the reason behind it. WWE doesn't do story lines as well thought out as connecting other wrestlers together.

Honestly NXT isn't much better right now, and probably about to get worse since I think they intend on doing a draft after Mania which will take away some of or most of the talent people like on NXT, then knowing the WWE they will fill it with a bunch of older people or part timers to try and beat AEW in the ratings.

The only way I can think of to clean up this loss to Goldberg is if The Fiend interferes with John Cena's return and then they both start a feud they can build up to Wrestlemania, Goldberg and Roman Reigns then start a feud they can also build up at Wrestlemania. Then The Fiend defeats John Cena and since The Fiend changes his opponents there can be a John Cena heel turn. Goldberg defeats Roman Reigns (which is very unlikely just like the rest of this please don't hurt me) then Goldberg will deliver a promo that The Fiend will interfere setting up a feud for the next ppv.
