    I attended one interview today on gcp. Please answer this question please. How to upload a csv from local Machine to GCP using pyspark.what are the steps you will do for this

      1. Upload the file to Cloud Storage.
      2. Use PySpark to access the file from the bucket and use it for your processing.

    brother you took the previous version. none of the resources (except gcp documentation) you mentioned are gonna help.

      Other resources I mentioned gets updated on a regular basis. I have been following them for the past 3 years.
      Please let me know your exam experience and how much aligned the questions were compared to this video. I'm keen to hear your feedback.

      @@thecloudpilot No its not updated on regular basis. I have spent lot of time compiling resources for new certification and took this DE exam already on old guide now renewing on new guide. Only Cloud skill boost is updated to match the new guide. All the other stuff mentioned in this video is useless for now. I will def update this comment section once I complete the exam.

    Another question. Did you went through GCP documentation ? Or only lecture videos and its attached resources are sufficient ?

    • @thecloudpilot

      Yes, I did. There are several things that the course videos might not be able to teach us and that is covered through the documentation.

    Is this as per the new syllabus ? Don't see that much of machine learning stuff

    • @thecloudpilot

      The latest syllabus will cover less ML and focuses that to the newly introduced data services. I plan to make another video when I recertify later this year.

    • @thecloudpilot

      Its not recommended since you don't have a direct experience but you are free to attempt. Experienced ones are usually able to pass them.

    • @thecloudpilot

      No, I took the older version but the distribution of topics in the newer version still has a lot of topics mentioned in this video. They are reliable resources prepared by experts in the GCP community.

      @@thecloudpilot some tips for the new exam? is much difficult?

    • @srirambalraj8

      @@PabloSoto-e5k One tip I give you is follow only the cloud skill boost learning path for exams later than Nov 13, 2023. All the other resources he mentioned is not updated except for official ones by Google. The old certification is entirely different track with lot of ML weightage and new one covers stuff like dataplex, biglake, memerystore, alloydb, analytics hub and lot more new products and guide that old one misses.

    • @thecloudpilot

      @@PabloSoto-e5k based on the interaction I had with people who cleared the latest one (including those who took the beta of the new version), I don't think the difficulty has changed. The topic distribution has changed of course. Ideally, you shouldn't just be preparing for the exam but rather keep all the knowledge for a later use.

    Anyone who passed new exam pattern?

    • @srirambalraj8

      I just cleared the exam on new guide. The Learning path I have chosen is Cloudskillboost official path which covers all the topics in exam pattern. Dont focus on ML Concepts. they have questions around these new services apart from standard data tools Dataform, Dataplex, Datastream, Dataflow Prime, Datamesh, Biglake, Datacatalog, Alloydb, Workflows So get familiar with these tools. Use official sample questions from exam page and you are good.
