  • In February of 2012, I was lucky to have met the late, great "Father of Biofilms," Dr. Bill Costerton. He was an amazing man in so many ways. This is an edited clip, selected parts of my 60 minute interview with him.
My documentary (Why Am I Still Sick? The Silent Role of Biofilms in Chronic Disease) is dedicated to this great innovator, teacher and friend to many. The DVD also includes a companion film -- an incredible summary interview between Dr. Costerton and Dr. Randy Wolcott, another biofilm innovator.

And a biofilm-specific library of current intelligence on biofilms:

What a wonderful explanation Dr. Costerton gives on biofilms! His enthusiasm for the science is contagious! Rarely do you see such passion. I'm so sorry that he is no longer alive.

Thank you so much for loading this onto TH-cam for all (scientist or otherwise) to view and to learn from, Dr. Costerton, one of the greatest teachers I ever knew. I totally agree with Howard Farran in the previous comment. Bill was a brilliant innovative scientist and a kind & patient teacher/mentor. He taught me everything I know about electron microscopy and ultrastructure when I was still an undergrad. at the University of Calgary. For over 40 years, I've been teaching my own students what I learned from him. I really miss this kind gentleman.

If you take antibiotics and then come down with a urinary tract infection, you need to take a good probiotic so the uti doesn't keep recurring.

Yes, that usually helps. I recommend Theralac from Master Supplements. The delivery mechanism gets the clinically-tested strains through the stomach acid; TheralacPro has a higher CFU for people that people on antibiotics needs. Top Lyme doctors know this and recommend this et al products.

Have had Morgellons disease for over a decade now and biofilm is the biggest issue. It's impossible to stop so far. I've slowed it down but can't stop it. It coats my skin. Looks like fake sticky skin. What kills it?

I used Chinese medicine berberine to cure my gas, bloating issue, my symptom got better almost immediately after taking it. I researched it online and talked to my doctor about it before taking it, they said they had never heard about it. I decided to give it a try anyway and it worked like a miracle, and there wasn’t any side effects. You may do some research online on your own, talk to your doctor and decide if you want to give it a try . Good luck to you.

antibiotics are killing people because of the interactions with these blood pressure drugs and others. Everything is interacting negativity with each other, the doctors can't keep up with it all. Even cinnamon and milk can give you a reaction. The organophosphates in the crops are patented as a antibiotic.
