what happened to this sled? i always loved the 650 had many sleds including the rxl but not the 650 and i remember going to eat a place on the lake in mn and seeing those brand new, loved it. yeah i have boost vr1 now, but i love those 650s.
What you got for pipes on that ole girl I have a 1990 identical to that mines got AAEN TRIPLE pipes. Mines also a 121 not a sks looks like it's had a few things changed seat looks to be an xlt or ultra with a a 10.7 gallon tank as appose to the 7.5 gallon tank and short seat.
When I was a kid it was the Wildcat vs this Indy. Tuned correctly the Indy would take it from what I saw. I saw a Wildcat 650 blow a plug right through the hood.

Had the same sled.Couldnt keep the chain from blowing apart in the chain case.4 times lucky for warranty.
Rather than chewing on the damn fuel line just warm them up with a heat gun.

I have the SKS version of this. Great fast sled that has never let me down. Parts are starting to get a bit hard to find, especially the 133.5 track.
