That's right! Remodel the small house and paint it! It's the village life! Everything is coming on nicely !
DK you have the best builders in the village. Your home is beautiful. I can't get over how excellent of a job these guys are doing. They make sure every detail is done. You have the best designs I've seen there.. They are so talented and very committed to their work. Please tell them. We love their work!!
DK it would have been best if you knock it all down. It is going to take away from the beauty of the house you should have clean view of the front gate from your veranda. In your case you won’t see the gate from the veranda but it would be nice if you have a beautiful driveway leading to the veranda with plants on both side. The store room should definitely not be in the front . You have a beautiful modern house but keeping that how there is going to depreciate the look of it
I also agree it should be all taken down. Retain the doors , windows and iron sheets to build away from front a store room if you wish but removing it as hard as it is sentimental is a must
I was hoping you could save half of it DK. You will have to plaster the remainder of it and maybe you can place the other window in a diff place. On the side that has not been plastered yet. You can make it look very nice to match your big house🙌🏽❤🙌🏽
DK at least you didn't demolished all of the structure. It can be fixed no space for crawling insert to get inside. That can be a nice outdoor kitchen and also use for Storage ❤❤❤❤
It's good you have saved part of the old house 🏡 when the Maisons finish working on the new house let them close the halfway house and plaster the old house to serve as a store room and kitchen. The full room of the old house can even serve as a guest room when you have a lot of visitors. For historical purposes it will serve as a reminder of where you came from and how good and Gracious God has been to you.
Hi DK my daughter,u can push ur bedroom & BC bedroom finish it then move in while u continue with the rest of the house , that's a suggestion ❤ from SA 🇿🇦
This house is beautiful as if its in town well done dear these builders are professional they know their story
Dk don't worry everything will be alright you will still have your beautiful first house to use.👍🙏❤️😊
DK, both houses 🏘 are looking beautiful. You made a great decision by not demolishing the small house.
I happy you didn’t tear the mud house down, it can be used for something else. You can always finish plastering the mud house and use it for visitors, outdoor kitchen or storage.
Good decision with the mud house, but i suggest you move the door from where it is and install it on the other side, you can also do a small verandah with pillars to modernise it.
Diana can the masons plaster the entire outside of the old mud house so that it looks like the new house? If they could also put the molding around the window and door on the Mud house that would be so beautiful and it would match and look like they were built together👍🏽❤️✌🏽
DK your main house is classy just demolish the little house it has done its work you will build a good outside kitchen that will look good.
When God blesses you don’t cry for old stuff but work towards improved things.
Paint the grills before putting in the Windows not to spoil them with paint
HELLO
DO NOT PLACE THE TOILET IN YOUR BATHROOM CLOSE TO YOUR SHOWER AREA.
HAVE THEM PUT A PARTITION ON THE FLOOR OF THE BATHROOM SEPARATING THE SHOWER AREA.
They could go and look at FeloTheBoy's bathroom, it is separated nicely.
I am sure you will
eventually make the remaining of the mud house nice, to match the other.
Painting and doing a nice landscape around the houses will make it look awesome.
Take your time and try not to stress.
The masons are doing an amazing job.
I think it's a great idea, Diana. Memories of the pass into the present and future. I would leave it. That's what i love to see with the villagers. They leave a reminder of the past within their compound when modernizing there home. God bless you, Diana, on the progress of building your home.❤🙏
She needs to get rid of the mud house because it distracts from the modern house and it also harbour rodents and even snakes will try to hide in it.
Hi Dk.
Happy Sunday.
The old house 🏚 🏠 served its purpose. Its time ⏲ to let go.
You are blessed with another beautiful one, bring it down please.
Diana, don’t cook too close to the demolition area the dust is too much. Don’t worry your compound will look very beautiful.
I'm happy, I send you info that it's a good place for B.C., for her to do her cooking business, I am very happy you took some of your subscribers advice 🙏🏽❤️☮️🇹🇹🇺🇸
Hi DK, at first, I thought it would be good to tear the whole house down, but now I think keeping half of the house for storage and BC to cook her food in will be great. Just have the guys fix it to correspond with your new house. I think it will be just fine. Good luck, my dear. You can even fix it up for an extra space for visitors to live in. That will work also. The small space will be on the other side, can be used for your storage room. Just close it in and put a door. Put a side walk so it won't get muddy.❤
I'm happy you are saving most of the house.
My church building was cut in the 🇺🇸 due to an unforseen situation so it's cool that you are saving yours ❤
Diana maybe when you can afford it you can match the iron sheets on the old house to that of the new house. You will also need gutters all around the new house and maybe on the side where houses are close so that rain splashes won’t ruin the paint or splash clay color on houses. I know its a lot to think about, but just do things slowly slowly like you planned. ✌🏽👍🏽❤️🇺🇸
DK, please be careful inhaling that dust. You know how easy it is for you to get sick. You need a mask on when you're close to that area right now.❤
I love your house it’s beautiful and it’s not done yet can you imagine when it’s done! Congratulations my dear the goat is on me for the party
I think it’s good to leave as much as you can from the old house because it will serve as a storage you can put all your garden tools in there and also still leave the bed in there for everyone that may need to stay there and for cooking until the new stove is in at the new house….. you could even Astor the old house and make it pretty so that it doesn’t cover up and make the new house ugly…..
I love that song, Say what you want to say? Not sure if thats the name of it, but I know you will know which one. Brilliant decisions being made. Keep it going. BIG LOVE
Very good progress Diana. Your Masons are A+++ class. When though your home will be beautiful and very spacious.
Just a thought (tip) for the old house .Perhaps you might consider to change the entry door now and take it at the back to serve better as storeroom or outside kitchen .❤
DK, I'm happy that you are not demolishing the whole structure.
Nope take it all down would be better with the outdoor kitchen and store building in the back of the property. Once the home is plastered and painted the old building will take away from the beautiful new home!!
Put some of the things inside of the house
That small house can be beautify as well , paint it as the big housesit will look nice as well. Use it as the outside kitchen which the firewood can be used incase the electricity or power goes. So i think keep that small house,.
You need storage that is understandable. It was too close to the house. You can make an outdoor kitchen with bricks and a brick fireplace for cooking inside. Breaking that house is for a new beginning. Build some shelves and the wall to pack away certain things
Yes I was hoping that you would save a part of it for an outside kitchen or storage and you did right 💕💕
Girl am soooo happy you got the right people to fix those mistakes DK your home is gonna be beautiful the outside looks good now ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Viewing here from : Texas, USA 🇺🇸 🌎 ❤🎉 👍 👌 👋
Diana make sure that it is not a hazard with the dining room floor lifted above the sitting room because you can stumble over the difference in the flooring👍🏽✌🏽🇺🇸🤗
If you want to leave the mud house, make sure you plaster it nicely and the edges are straight, otherwise the beauty of the big house will be negligible...
Go girl🙌! you really look tied, but it will be weath it. And the fact that you are there monitoring the job ! very good . That is how it should be, Well done DK. power young lady. RESPECT TO YOU.
Please do not get sad that house was too close to your beautiful new house
Nice one job,it look Good one day i will visit you
It shows progress that new things bigger things are happening, so nothing to be sad about❤❤❤
Blessings to you ❤❤
😂😂the comments😂😂I'm sure DK has a plan for the mud house. Just watch and wait to see what she will do😅😅the comments😅😅🤦🏽♀️
That house is so beautiful and reminds me of Estate Houses in the USA.
Do what you want.
Hello Diana my opinion is that you should keep the small house it has sentimental value to you with some plastering, paint, and a little fixing up it will match the new house may God in Heaven continue to bless you
Beautiful home. You have a good taste. Your Fundi are knowledgeable.
@DK, get to learn that, in life, some decisions are too painful, emotional, or sad to make. The small house can be remodelled to look like an extension of the main house, as a good guestwing. Make the outside kitchen adjacent to the backyard verandah big enough to fit 2/ 3 fireplaces. Stick to Your concept, of a grass thatched roof and walls with bricks . Round in shape to represent a typical african kitchen.
Diana make an outdoor kitchen with open patio/lanai/breeze way
Dk are you going to cement the side to the road on the first house so it would look better since you are. Leaving that side
I pray you get money to purchase black tiles and place on outside skirting so that rain won't ruin walls easilly.
To look at it with a clear vision you don't ever put a store house or an outside kitchen above a beautiful bungalow it will spoil and hide all it's beauty Dk please think about it thoes who telling you to leave it don't want to see the beauty of the house
@@MarcinePrescod-Straker It’s so true. The people telling her this it’s a pity they do not have the experience to understand the only thing to be visible in front is the veranda this is in the back so her driveway should come straight from the gate to the steps of the veranda. In Jamaica we do it a little different except for maybe people who probably older and lived in there homes for many years we do everything inside. No bathrooms or kitchens outside and if there is another building it is hidden away from sight somewhere at the back.
Or you could use the river stones, to get rid of the red soil around the house. You will certainly miss Baby Caro today to help out with the cooking.
Demolish the small house my dota It is going to mess up the whole house, it’s too close to the main house, please preserve your hard work, you can still build a kitchen at place metres away from your main house,
Save the window and the door for the new storage room
So much nice a house & it is at list.
I am happy for you DK.Your house will look superb..l really really like ot.Girl, you got yourself Profesional masons.Always pray for them that whatever their hands find to do they may do it with their might.Stay blessed
GET A ROUND TABLE.
TO PLACE YOUR DISHES. AND. UTENSIL.
NOT ON THE GROUND! Also get a few chairs.
HI DK my sweet child , not only your head must be covered from the dust . cover your nose also invest in some face mask , We your family will not be happy 2 hear that u are sick , always think about DK. think ahead before its 2 late ,Bye 4 now my precious child
DK my Daughter I know you already made the decision to keep your small house next door to your big house however still look like it's too close and it will and it may take away the beauty of the original home.. and I see you had conflicting opinions from some of your subscribers from a real estate point of view the storehouse is just a little too close to the main house okay but good luck in your project anyway my dear
Take it down forget about sentiments that old house has no place there
BT can use the zinc sheets on his new chicken house.
Hey kemmy good work bebgirl I'm Steve a I remember when u are my boss
The rain fall from the roof of the old house will ensure that the paint of your new house will be soon be a mess i know your mind is made up but life changes
Diana please wear face mask while around the dust and your mason as well because he was doing some coughing
YOU CAN EVEN USE THE HALF OF THE OLD HOUSE AS STORAGE OR A OUTSIDE KITCHEN.
PAINT IT GREY.
You will be ok😊😊

I love Burundian Traveller with Diana Kemmy ❤May God bless their union 🙏🏿
Make that place for a garage to put car, fix it good.
Y did u demolish that house it would hve work very gud for your outside ketchen nd also storage
Get the grills and doors clean up before putting in the glass windows in
Maybe it’s time to knock down the mud hut. Rats still can get in an destroy it’s contents. Finish your house and at a later date build a more secure storage and a covered outdoor kitchen like Nastos or a uncle Mo.
You need one built on a full cement foundation. BT’s storage would have even more practical if he had built it on a stone and cement foundation.
Having to replace things in the storage mud shed that have been ate up by rats and snakes or repair periodically the mud house is unnecessarily tedious. You got plenty of soil to build those cement/sand blocks Kenya uses to build homes like Marwa did. Free materials can’t be beat. Just add cement. Putting up one brick wall does little to eliminate inherent problems of a mud house.
The mud house also blocks your view of what’s happening from the street.
I have seen where those mud houses have been built with no windows at all but isn’t time you showed the village a better way if they can afford it. The operative phrase “if they can afford it”. It seems Many can’t. Praying for them!. Everywhere life ain’t easy. Diana do your best to elevate yourself and your family..
No don't take everything down, use the other part for storeroom.
YAHOO you decided to keep part of your very first home Wow DK I know you will make sure it fits in nicely with the other house. Perhaps with the paint color 😄 I can't wait to see your vision 👏🏻👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Dk think about wooden floors
Maybe not wooden floor because they have a lot of termites around. Tiles will be perfect and easier to maintain.
Here on rerun my like # 711
That is a very good idea
❤❤❤❤❤

USA WATCHING A MOVIE 🎦 🎦
I am so happy you did not knock done the hole house.❤🎉🎉🎉
❤❤❤
You can move in...remember BT was just living in his while building
Put the door of the old house inside now
IT TAKES AWAY THE BEAUTY OF THE HOUSE.
PAINT IT GREY AS A SIDE STORAGE ROOM.
Hello DK😊😅😅😅
I actually think she could have bricked it up for a storage room. Why waist materials?
In the manshone
Take it all down forget about store house you will not need it except to keep old stuff you dont need to keep rubbish like the old wood or sheets or pipes you will only encourage gathering rubbish sell what ever others may need get rid of rubbish sell the iron sheets
❤❤❤❤❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🙏
Do wiring
Is that gut your brother?
Very nice work, you should have them make a little walkway around the house with the cement when doing the base of the house so the walls won’t get dirty when it rains and also when you have to walk around the house you won’t have to walk in dirt
