Thanks so much for recognizing them!! They are certainly imo the pinnacle of black metal creativity and musicianship!!! Please review their previous masterpieces, Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult, Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan, and Magnificent Glorification of Lucifer! They are spectacular monumental albums that are impressive in every way, especially in how the music goes so perfectly with the lyrics. Hail Dagon and Incubus!
Its so hard to chose one! Sometimes I go back and listen to the whole discography again, Finding that every album is just so fucking amazing and perfect how well they flow. It would have to be Magnificent glorification of Lucifer, Nefarious Dismal Orations, Obscure Verses for the Multiverse, and of course, Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm, But they are all truly masterpieces!
Really good album.Amazing how 2 guys can create this heavy powerful sound. One thing about inquisition is the songwriting, the songs are like a story. They come up with bad-ass riffs and pounding/relentless drums.
I have Inquisition's whole discography and I do really like this new album. One thing that loses points here are the vocals. They have been pretty consistent with them until now. On this release they seem buried in the mix, and less croaky. Maybe Dagon is running low on spinach.
I can't stop listening to this album.. its great. Wings of Anu, The Flames of Infinite Blackness Before Creation, and bloodshed across the empyrean altar beyond the celestial zenith..... wow
Z3N17H1U5 dude The Flames of infinite Darkness made me fall in love with the album. The whole album is amazing but that song in particular made me love this band. (first album I got from them)
Very good album i still think Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm is my favorit album from them. But in my opinion this band just have a lot more different elements and styles in their music that seperates them from a lot of the other "standard" black metal bands.
Ominous Doctrines is my favourite as well. I'm waiting for my physical copy of this album to come in before I have a listen, so who knows? this could be my new favourite
The names pretty self explanatory I think. The perpetual mystical macrocosm is the totality of the universe itself which the vocalist equates to something like "god". The music itself is the ominous doctrine(s).
Legendary band. I still feel that if Dagon kept to his old vocal style than the last two albums would have sounded a lot better. The last two albums haven't had as much of that dark ritualistic atmosphere of their previous work. Still a great album though. Slightly better than the last one to me. I give it 8.5 as well.
love discovering new bands. Keep the vids coming.

They are amazing, excellent albums from their debut to this most recent one. Which is your favorite?

Also Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan !!!!! the Atmosphere is legendary.
Love that album
That album title though
All of their album and song titles are crazy clusterfucks of words
All of the inquisition album titles though lol
I love me some inquisition!!

Holy shit that album name is a mouthful, what does that even mean? lol

Bonnus track: once upon the time- cover of Typhon

Could the album have a longer title?
yes, if you put everything racist Donald Trump said together you'll get an album title that's 23.886.901 words long
Reasons people hate prog rock?
