The Evergreen OB popper should be in your lineup. It is the best popper I have ever used, you can pop it, you can really walk it, and you can chug it. The other is the original Pop-R P70, but those are rare and even more expensive than the overpriced Ricos.
What colors in the rico would you recommend - My typical lakes have perch, bluegill and Shad. These things sound like they slay. Gonna have to get some!
Is the tungsten ball supposed too slide back and forth in the pop max and pop x or no. I have three and 2 of them the ball is stuck in the back section and the other one the ball slides and fishes much better than the other 2.
I currently use St.Croix BassX 7'1 M fast with a 6:8:1 lews speel spool lfs. I use it for topwater and jerkbait but I'm not to conformable spending $300+ on a entire combo at the moment. I've had some hookup issues the 110/110 Jr. and pop max. Am I using the wrong type of rod and reel the techniques?
Why does my pop max dive and some times it turns. It doesn’t seem to follow a straight path. If it twitch it hard then it actually jumps- I have it on braid, I’ve tried a mono leader also and it’s just harder to walk it.
I was surprised you didnt mention the Jackall Binksy! This bait is truly amazing and versatile. It spits, walks, clanks, flashes..and totally gets destroyed. I live and fish in Seoul (Korea) these days, and it is a killer.. my favorites are chart strike gill, and black. BTW, really enjoy your content, and thx for upgrading the site (and delivering direct to Seoul!).
There’s was a popper that was made in the US back in the mid to late ‘80s that had the “ heart beat” technology. It was an ugly popper but it must of been a result of a Temporal Pincer

Rico is best I've ever used, it gets bit when others won't! Worth every penny and that's rare in today's fishing baits and equipment

Would machine gun cast by sunline be a good line to put on a jerkbait rod to throw both jerkbaits and top water?

I was going to say the same thing. The Rico walks great for me, and I usually get more of my bites walking it than just popping it in place.
