Great run Tanner, Congrats on the win! The "Carly Cam" from off track really showed your speed. You were flying around the track. Keep it up! Thanks for taking me racing!
Well done Tanner , you were given a hole and you grabbed it with all four wheels and then looked untouchable. Again well done. Stay safe and take care.
Tanner, I must have missed this video. What type of frames does QRC ? Many years ago when we raced karts, we usually used Margay frames. They allowed you to use any brand of tire, but they would check the length of your rear axle. I can recall my early years of racing, I used a Dart frame with 4" front tires. There were no body's, wings, etc. You could have nerf bars. I can recall hooking my front wheel with a guy who tried to block me, and I took a end over end 3 times. It covered the length of the backstretch. My rear axle looked like a pretzel. I was thrown out of the kart on the last flip. Nobody used any type of restraint back then. My older brothers actually had to carry me off the track. I begged him to allow me to use his kart for the feature, They had to lower me in his seat, and I started dead last, and won by a straight away. After the feature they took me to the ER, and I had 4 cracked ribs. They things we all have done.
That was an exciting race to watch. Do you think that Jessie sometimes thinks ah crap when he knows that Landon and you Tanner are on his tail. Y'all sure do know how to respectfully race each other and that's good to see. Thank you Tanner for sharing this video with us. May you have a good one. Have fun take care
I don't think "hotrod" is the correct description of what you are driving here. You should really go with "go-kart". Zero suspension and one cylinder = go-kart.
@@nitsudocsicnarf347 I have helped on go-kart that raced on asphalt road course. They had go-karts with 500 cc engines that they shifted at a track in California they could hit just over 100 mph at are track they could hit about 95mph.
@@TannerHolmes thank you , my older brother had an old rupp kart i was about 10 year's old, it hade a 12 horse westbend 2 cycle on it and him and my brother inlaw would take me out to a big parking lot and turn me loose that was in the 60s what a great time in life it was.
I remember the West bend engines. We raced used those until McCollough came out with there 9 block, and several years later they brought out the 91 and the 101 series. Brings back many memories 😃

Can't any race vehicle be a hot rod.
Why so salty?
