The principal speaker is impressive in his views on rewilding and reforesting our beautiful country.
What a wonderful place. It has become 1st on my 'Bucket List' of places to experience.
We don’t hear enough about this project. I hope it’s still full steam ahead.
My brother worked on the site. It is full steam ahead and the man has put a 100 year plan in place. Seems to be his passion and how he wants to spend his time and money.
rewildling needs to happen in welsh uplands fed up of them being sheep factories
The *dislikes* are by people who believe the 'Countryside' is souly for Farms.
excellent doc, fantastic ideas!
Paul Lister has the right ideas.
Wow I need to bring my family here
great work, but they never included fungi when planting the trees, so soils are still dead and trees slow and vulnaerable
The fungi will settle as soon there are trees there. Their spores are everywhere.
6 years on and still no wolves
That's democracy for you.
Well I hear Lynx might be able to come back
Thats not just any moose that's a Scottish Moose
Lynx yes I can see that but wolves no release wolves in Scotland and ring Cornwall to tell them they are coming.
On the mainland wolves and other animals extinct from Britain live in landscapes more densely populated by people than Scotland is. Probably our wolves are eating now every fellow German, sheep and cow in my country, after living here for 20 years without any incidents against people and very low damage to livestock. If you manage your livestock well and not let it loose without some supervision, it will be save and sound. The secret is having herd guard dogs and some fencing.
We could live with so much more, but they don't know because they don't! Abundance was the way it was intended. Only fools destroy the planet that looks after them. It's like burning your house down to see if that's more comfortable?? Crazy.
El Bisonte europeo en libertad, falta en Escocia!!
They are coming back to England so once the Scottish see how good they are for the environment they’ll no doubt take some Bison back to the Highlands
