GQ Patrol TRANSFORMED in ONE DAY | Barwork, Lighting, Steering and More

Today we are back working on the Nardo Grey pig of a GQ wagon. We started out with plans to fit some new shocks and fix some leaks, but we got too excited and ended up putting the whole car back together with its newly refreshed parts. Oh, and everything is just as dodgy as usual.

What’s the removing the radius arm bolt thing you were talking about for flex?

factory patrol radius arms don’t allow much droop, so you can remove a bolt to get more down travel. It would put alot of stress on the remaining bolt and bushes though so lots of people don’t recommend doing it.

Toothpaste on your lights mate, you have crazed the plastic due to the solvent. Toothpaste and polisher should get them back to decent condition.

thanks mate, i’ve used toothpaste on yellow lights before and it worked pretty well. This was only the clip on covers though so I just threw them in the bin 😂

yeww I love a nice hzj75, and I don’t want to fling too much shit at Kings in case I get a defamation suit 😂 but in my personal experience everything I’ve bought from there has just been pretty average quality and a lot of it has broken so I’ve given up with them. Some of the stuff they make will do the job, but I’d rather pay a little more to support Australian companies that make quality products.

yeah I removed the covers since the paint thinners destroyed them, I’ve done it with another pair of lights with Metho though and it removed the logos without ruining the cover
