@@user09719 Vikk has failed so much with maths in previous videos which is his whole thing “book smart” and he’s not the smartest with street smarts so I just see him as average and the others being slightly below but above in their own things like harry’s random trivia, jjs boxing and sport knowledge, josh is good with money, simon is witty and fast thinking- stuff like that

Maybe not the smartest of the Sidemen (they're all smart in different ways, I think that's why they all compliment each other quite nicely!), but definitely the more thought-provoking of the bunch! Intellectual, philosophical, honestly I'm not surprised Josh's biggest phobia is the fear of death.
Shit gets super scary when you start thinking about it differently. It's literally the loneliest thing any human will go through, you'll never be able to do the things you once enjoyed doing, nobody dies with you and holds your hand. You literally die alone, just yourself and your consciousness (and your God that you've never directly interacted with before, if you're more inclined to be religious).
You'll never be able to pet your dog, hug your friend, kiss your wife, drink with your family during birthdays. Your life as you know it completely ends.
I understand Josh fully. I'm more scared of death now than I was a year ago, but I'm not as afraid of the concept of dying as I use to be.
It's kinda worrying to see how scared vik and Josh got. But I understand it. Getting the grip of there's no real meaning behind our lives is a scary thought. And that there's so much unknown just goes to show you that existential anxiety effects us all.
You can believe in this while also believing there is a meaning behind it all. They’re not mutually exclusive.

It works because even tho the water in the glass is pulled down by gravity, the force of the water pushing down is lower than the force of atmospheric pressure, which is pushing up on the card. That's why the water stays in the glass.

This is the sort of video that made me really start to put the reacts channel above the main channel. Not only is it informative, the banter is entertaining and also there is no real regard to just push for the 8min mark (stretching out dry content) and instead the focus is on the video itself and reacting to it.

Another thing to take into account is the speed of light. For some other alien civilization to even have the chance of noticing us, they would have to be within only about one hundred light years of us. This is because their "version" of Earth they see is dependent on how many lightyears away they are. To put this into context, if a star is one lightyear away from us, the "version" of the star we see is what it looked like one year ago.
With that being said, the same can be applied to us looking out towards other planets/stars/galaxies. A highly intelligent alien civilization could have formed hundreds of thousands of years ago; however, if they are hundreds of thousands of lightyears away, we wouldn't actually see them for what they actually are currently. I hope this made sense. It's a very interesting topic and I love this sort of stuff.

Realistically, any life that's intelligent enough to be able to explore space would also be intelligent enough to realize that the other life that could be out there (us) might not be hostile. Thus I don't think aliens would be hostile at all.
Or actually realistically, life out there could be so much more advanced and intelligent than us that they just see us as a dumb underdeveloped species like we do to other species of this planet. And so they do what ever they want with us: livestock, prey, resource, eggs for aliens…
