I got this for a big trip to africa which sadly had been cancelled due to covid-19 but i used it for a week long camping trip and it was really amazing. the pack fits everything and is very comfortable to wear!
Omg thank you for the explanation of the rain/airport cover. I was very confused when i actually took it out to try it out. You showed me more of the “secret” compartments in the bag now I’m gonna have to go check them out also.
Thanks for such a great in-depth video. However when I watched another video on it they showed a close up of the main compartment zippers where you can put a lock through it.
Hi Thomas, our advice is always to check the bags dimensions with your airline. My personal and practical experience tells me that anything over 40 litres is pushing it.
Hi, I have a Problem with the adjustable shoulder straps.there is this metal rod on the back and this is pressing into my shoulder. Do you have a solution?
Hmm, it's not an issue I've heard before. Is the back length adjusted correctly? My only thought is that the back length could be too long, meaning your back is rubbing against the metallic adjusters. Harry
Unfortunately not, too big. The Fairview 40 is designed to be carry-on compatible; you can find it here: www.trekitt.co.uk/34107/products/osprey-womens-fairview-40-misty-grey.aspx
"I bought the Fairview Trek 50 women's model because I noticed it's smaller than the Fairview Trek 55 for men. Is there a genuine difference since it's designed for women, or can a man use it as well?"
There are physical differences in the size and shape of the pack, but ultimately if it fits and feels comfortable then use it. We're not all the same shape and size so finding the pack that fits is the important bit.
Quick correction: Our sample product in the video above didn't feature lockable zips, but the production models do. Apologies!
There still is no lockable zip in the bottom pouch into the main compartment. How do I overcome that??
Thanks for this lovely and throughout review. I'm buying one!

That is correct, our sample didn't have lockable zippers but the production models do. Apologies! Kind regards, Harry.
Thanks for this review Hannah. Could you do a review of the smaller 55l/50l Treks please
We'll add it to the list!
Thanks for the thorough review! Do you know if the 50 version will fit as carry on luggage?

Not in any store in my town in Canada yet
Do you plan to stock the fairview trek 50?
I'm afraid it isn't an item we'll be stocking any time soon. Kind regards, Harry.
Do you have a review for Osprey Fairview 70l?
Afraid not, sorry

It looks quite blue in the video. Is it more grey in reality?
It does look more grey in person; it may look more blue depending on screen settings.
Is it already available in US?
We've just had a look on a few US retailer's sites and it seems they are available.
Trekitt thanks!!!!!
This is can be carry on?

Спасибо за хороший обзор . Ведущая прикольная.
Thanks for watching.
If only this was in a 40 or 45l. I think 50l might be too big for 157cm petite me haha
Thanks for watching
i think they might do a 40l
