The Cultist mod is actually really good. You should play it with Speedy, Side, and Chilled. They do it more fun, and I believe they're the ones who played this mod first.

Personally, I think it may have been the group. This whole session just feels so dull and low on energy, like everyone's bored. Had it been with our main peeps like Wildcat, Scotty, Speedy, Himi, and Fishburger, I genuinely feel like it could have been way better.

Yeah this aint it(could be that you were learning the mod too). I love Pasta and Tay, a little bit Ze and Kara too but the chaos with Himi, Speedy, Wildcat, Moo, Scotty, Bonsai, Larry + the rest is the best. I also miss Kruz.

The converting stuff is really a turn off for me. As a player you try to learn who's what and those conversions throw all of it in the bin.
It really ruins an important aspect of the game
It's already balanced with long conversion cooldowns and if the main converter dies/gets voted off that's it. I think the most you can say is that it's a different gamemode but I'm not accepting any slander bc this new mode is dope as hell

Those new bad roles are broken AF (similar to infinite Jackal recruiting in a different mod). I don't get how anyone can guess who to get out except from sheer luck or if they just out themselves. Personally, I'd limit cultist to 2 generic imposter conversions, whisperer to one conversion to the bad version of a crewmate's role, and set necro to optionally (but permanently) "steal" a killed crewmate's role if there is an evil counterpart, or just remove it from the mod entirely. That's just me, though.

I don't think it's the group clicking (or not) or the mod being boring (or not), but the combination of the two at the same time. New group should play the previous mod, or the old group should try out the new mod first. It was just awkward to see everyone in the dark, not sure if they were being funny or not. A shame because it has potential... At least they're actually doing tasks 😆
