As he gazed into space, he began to see pricks of light glisten and wink at him, before him his destination, neigh, it was at least 17,000,000km away. He couldn’t reach it; his oxygen was running out quickly. As a twisted in his space suit, he saw a crumpled version of yesterday’s wall street journal, it just hung there, suspended in perfect stillness. It was as if the universe had suddenly let the strings of its previous animation lose. David was in perfect stillness alongside it.
