Visiting parents for the week and in my opinion your assessment is underrated. Ive never traveled outside of the Gulf Coast area , so i am blown away by everything here especially scenery, natural and man made . Paradise in the summer , never been here in the winter .

What transport can get from Boston to Laconia? I can’t seem to find a bus or train.

When property taxes are mentioned for Laconia, it's made to seem really high. When you compare it to areas like Winchester (~ $31.79/K) or Newport (~ $30/K), it's a better tax rate I'm willing to live with, especially with all the things you can do around the Lakes Region.

Laconia is over run with out of staters crowding the lakes so bad that it is getting unsafe for boating
