no but i get it. he was being ungrateful about what he had. unless the family or step mom was toxic or the situation was bad because of anything other than his inner feelings, theres no point in not giving sydney a chance atleast. the dad was an idiot I'll admit that. but what had a personal agenda against sydney for no reason other than maybe that he felt his mom being replaced. still those feelings could've been worked on.
26:23 RIGHT?! Cuz in these disney movies the characters are usually so sold as pure good or completely bad that it is refreshing to see characters with real issues that they need to adress and work it out
Lemonade Mouth is actually based on an actual book that was published a few years prior, and in it Mo and Charlie do end up getting together. However the actor for Charlie was I believe around 14 to 16 years old when they filmed the movie while Mo’s actor was around 18 or 19 I believe, so they decided to not make them end up together due to how young Charlie’s actor was.
26:20 There is a book that the movie was based on, and Charlie and Mo apparently do date in the book. But in the movie, Charlie’s actor was young (around 13-14 I think?) And Mo’s actress was wayyy older. So to not make it weird with the age gap, they went with a different direction.
There is an end credit scene of this movie where the band was being interviewed for television or something and in that interview Wen and Olivia disclosed that they had recently become a couple. I don't know if a lot people actually know about that scene or not😂🤷🏽♂️
@@LakiaJaiTV Oh you were talking about the Movie? I thought you were talking about Adam Hicks (Wen) getting arrested irl 😬 He's doing better now I believe so good for him 😄
Absolutely love this movie, I’m glad you watched it. A little update on some of the actors So Adam Hicks (Wen) actually wrote some of the songs or at least his raps. Since getting out of prison he’s on TikTok promoting his new songs and even makes appearances on podcast explaining how he fell off/ what he went through regarding his time behind bars and struggles with mental health. It’s heartbreaking to hear his experiences. Naomi Scott (Mohini) played Jasmine in the live action version of Aladdin. Blake Michael (Charlie) was 14 or 15 when he was cast in this movie Hayley Kiyoko (Stella) is still making music And ofc we probably all know what DR. Bridget Mendler is up too. Also not sure if Disney+ had it but there’s a deleted scene with “living on a high wire” which is also a great song!
I’m an elementary music teacher and I lowkey played this movie for my classes last year after I finally watched it for the first time. I love it so much.

I love that w 10:23 en is intimidating as hell but he's not the muscle. Also is it weird to anybody else that when he talks normally he has a lisp but he can rap like nobody's business!
It might seem far fetched for them to be selling out madison square garden but let’s be so fr…they absolutely could😭 like i know every bitch around my age would get tickets
little fun fact Blake Michael the actor that played Charlie also acted in one episode of True Blood and he acted in the Disney Channel tv series Dog With A Blog and Bridgit Mendler acted in the Disney Channel tv series Good Luck Charlie and she also acted in Alvin And The Chipmunks The Squeakquel and Hayley Kiyoko acted in 4 episodes of the original Wizards Of Waverly Place
Oh yeah Lakia if you haven't seen them yet i got some Dcom suggestions for you and they are Radio Rebel, 16 Wishes, My Babysitters A Vampire which also has a tv series and both of them are kind of like Buffy The Vampire Slayer if you've ever seen that series, Smarthouse, Halloweentown, Twitches, and Don't Look Under The Bed
The stadium that was built in the high school was in New Mexico, I know because I sang on stage there for choir for the past three years, it’s actually that big in person as well 😂
Always been my favorite d-COM! It's based on a book which I have and I was expecting a sequel because there's a sequel to the book but based on that bit where they are started the movie with them selling tickets and whatnot that kind of ruined the chance for a sequel 😭 I desperately wanted a sequel because I wanted another CD! This is basically the CD that I would have playing full volume on the speakers in my room while I'm dusting the house (I basically would run back to my room to skip the mudslide crush songs)
my fav dcom ever! your reaction to mudslide crush’s music 😭😭 i still bop out to it though. the one who plays wen (adam hicks) was on disney xd shows “zeke and luther” & “pair of kings” then the one who plays mo (naomi scott) played jasmine in the live action “aladdin”!
I feel bad for Wyn and Sydney. Ok, all Sydney did was fall in love with Wyn’s dad and I appreciate her trying to be a part of his children’s lives. And I get why they focused on her more. But boy, I got bad vibes from the dad. His dad isn’t the worst, but he needs to communicate more and have empathy for his son’s feelings about the situation. First, to me it feels like a new relationship and Wyn barely has time to process it before he is carpooling with his dad and Sydney to school. Sydney has to adapt to that too. The movie’s time frame is confusing when it comes to that relationship, but who the hell just lets their girlfriend move in without telling the kids? Maybe Wyn’s sibling knew, but dude talk to your son. You can’t expect him to be ok with a new person moving in. Maybe Sydney wanted the dad to speak to Wyn first, but bad move on her for moving in before he did so. And the dad just pops the news on Wyn that he wants to marry her. I get it. You are in love with this person, but slow down. Ease her into the family bub. Wait until they get along at least. Jeez. And the audacity that he asked Wyn to be his best man while holding a picture of them. What was supposed to happen? I really don’t like his dad. He seems a little selfish. I get the enthusiasm, but too fast and not letting your son be part of the decision. He is acting nice about it, but it still feels like he just expects Wyn to go along with everything. On top of all that, it feels like Sydney is the supportive one in all of this. She is the first to arrive to the prison and the one to tell Wyn the band’s song was on the radio. Maybe the whole family danced to it, so there is that. But still. I felt she put more work in trying to support Wyn than his own dad did. Also admired her understanding with the way he reacted to his teacher’s comment about her. That was good of her. There. Rant done.

Fun fact: Bridget Mendler graduated from Harvard and is now the CEO of a company. She is essentially a rocket scientist lmao. She truly popped off.
It's not a fun fact when everyone has Google to use to find out more than these actors.
