- While enjoying the beginning of Bluegrass and BBQ at Silver Dollar City, we took a round on the train. When we realized that we didn't have something for the robbers, we gave them something else and, well- the rookie robber got to experience something new. :-)
A behind the scenes look at what a former worker at Disney World, Silver Dollar City, and Busch Gardens Florida experienced in his time working at the parks. From driving large safari trucks around live wild animals while cracking one silly joke after another, to spending 5 years as a #PhotoPass photographer at #WaltDisneyWorld and seeing and experiencing all sorts of things, to being a conductor and #trainrobber on the famous Frisco Silver Dollar Line at #SilverDollarCity. With 10 years of working in the parks, there's lots of stories to tell. Here is some of them...

Pranking the train robbers, priceless!!!!!😆😆😆😆😆
Went today (6/4/23)to ride the train. We rode the 2:30 one. I tell you the date and time cause they had a bit of an issue with their lines. When Ralpy went to pull out his gun to rob the train the part of the gun that holds the bullets fell out. We were dying laughing...they were too. It threw off the lines the whole rest of the skit. I also saw that the train was gone like you said. I also noticed the man/hobo taking a shower was gone.
Hobo junction has been gone for over 10 years now. :-(

Question:
When are you going to do a video on the Closing of The Starcrusier at Disney? Not a Big fan of Star Wars but I have watched The Orginal 1-6 movies...before Disney bought the Rights.
I knew it was going to bust because of the lack of Characters from the Orginal 1st & 2nd Trilogies,etc. Knew it wasn't going to last long. Just curious to hear your thoughts on it.

Hi SirWillow! I was wondering, do you know where the costumes at the park come from? Do they have a costume department or are they purchased from a manufacturer?
They make many of them there, especially the show costumes and the ladies outfits. Some of the men's they will order out. Yes, they have a full costume shop with a number of seamstresses working there.

The last time I was at Silver Dollar, while I was on the train a side of the new Fire in the Hole building was open and my family saw a some track for the coaster and a lot of it. The track itself looked finished but the inside as far as theming goes had a lot of work to be done.

I made my first visit to SDC on 5/14 and absolutely loved the park! I bought the tasting passport for Bluegrass and BBQ and all the food was excellent. Weather had most of the park shut down for roughly 2.5hrs cause of weather, but I still made it on all the rides I wanted except Thunderation. Definitely can't wait to get back to the park someday!

So if you are a silver dollar city pass holder you only allow for food only discounts wow that’s weird.
