There is big difference between protecting and controlling. It is Sara’s right to decide on what makes her happy. It’s her life. I’m a parent myself and to me, my role is to raise my child the best way I can, guide her and protect her but I will not stand in the way of her happiness. That is downright wrong in my opinion. We don’t own our children. They are not our properties.

As a parent/mother, NEVER have i thought that i will be my daughter's responsibility or that she will have an obligation to the family. Instead, it's the parent's responsibilty to work, raise their children and send them to school. Sarah @31 deserves her freedom from all the weight she's been carrying for her extended (now) family. And prepare for her own (now) family and soon to be kids. On the other hand, Matteo should REALLY prove to Sarah's parents, especially her mother, that Sarah made the right decision in marrying him.

I just wanna share my opinion. Para sa akin, hindi obligado ang mga anak mgbayad sa mga magulang para sa pagpapalaki sa kanila because from the first place when we make a baby it's PARENTS obligation and responsibility to take care of their children until they reach their right age and learn how to stand on their own or be independent. And in return, their children should take care of their future grandkids the way or more than how their parents took care of them. Yes, we must help our parents but not to the point that they obliged their children to support them all the way, control them and even deny them their happiness. But ofcourse, pag mahina na mga magulang natin, dapat bukal sa loob nating alagaan sila. I am a mother of two now and I've encountered a lot of different parental control 😁 and beliefs, even with my parents, and as a parent myself, we should think of our kids happiness and respect their decisions when they're on the right age, that's a top priority. As a parents, we're just here to guide our children and pick them up or help them stand again when they fall.

I beg to disagree... regardless if Divine wasn’t like that, they will always find each other if they were meant to be. Matteo could have easily given up but he didn’t. They should be proud of him. I'm a mother too. Single parent pa. But I'm always encouraging my children to open up with me every tym my problema sila. Tuwing llapit sila sakin I always ask whats the problem. I joke with them,tease them, laughed with them na prang mgbarkada lng. But when it comes na my Mali sila then that's the tym nagiging stern na ako. For me having children is having a moral obligation to love them unconditionally. We are here to guide them and them teach BUT NOT controlling them. Mistakes is a part of life. Natural sa tao mgkamali. That makes us human. So if nagkamali man anak ntin sa mga desisyon nila sa buhay we parents have an obligation to correct them BUT also to support them. Support means love controlling means selfishness.

There is big difference between protecting and controlling. It is Sara’s right to decide on what makes her happy. It’s her life. I’m a parent myself and to me, my role is to raise my child the best way I can, guide her and protect her but I will not stand in the way of her happiness. That is downright wrong in my opinion. I just wanna share my opinion.
Para sa akin, hindi obligado ang mga anak mgbayad sa mga magulang para sa pagpapalaki sa kanila because from the first place when we make a baby it's PARENTS obligation and responsibility to take care of their children until they reach their right age and learn how to stand on their own or be independent. And in return, their children should take care of their future grandkids the way or more than how their parents took care of them. Yes, we must help our parents but not to the point that they obliged their children to support them all the way, control them and even deny them their happiness. But ofcourse, pag mahina na mga magulang natin, dapat bukal sa loob nating alagaan sila.
I am a mother of two now and I've encountered a lot of different parental control 😁 and beliefs, even with my parents, and as a parent myself, we should think of our kids happiness and respect their decisions when they're on the right age, that's a top priority. As a parents, we're just here to guide our children and pick them up or help them stand again when they fall.

I'm a mother too. Single parent pa. But I'm always encouraging my children to open up with me every tym my problema sila. Tuwing llapit sila sakin I always ask whats the problem. I joke with them,tease them, laughed with them na prang mgbarkada lng. But when it comes na my Mali sila then that's the tym nagiging stern na ako. For me having children is having a moral obligation to love them unconditionally. We are here to guide them and them teach BUT NOT controlling them. Mistakes is a part of life. Natural sa tao mgkamali. That makes us human. So if nagkamali man anak ntin sa mga desisyon nila sa buhay we parents have an obligation to correct them BUT also to support them. Support means love controlling means selfishness.

OGIE DIAZ: Over protection is ABNORMAL. OVER protection that is beyond normal is a sign of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. Domestic Violence is not just through Physical. It can be Monetary, controlling, verbal, stalking, and etc. On the other hand, since she wasn’t sent to school by her parents, that is a neglect.
So that is abnormal parenting. As a parent just be supportive to your kids whenever they succeed or fail. If a victim feels comfortable with someone, they would defy their parents.
