You may already know that my favorite part of the video was seeing the littles all looking up to you, and your treating them well. Littles see even young teens (not that you're young - I'm talking eighth graders) as practically adults and see them as idols and as models for their own future behaviour. I know this because I very clearly remember being a little myself and how I saw the older girls as equals to my own parent in terms of knowledge and authority, however laughable that seems now. It's important to remember how big the world seems to people who are so small. Whatever you do in cheer will never rival what you do for those who follow you. I watch you and it certainly seems to me that you've been raised well and know your responsibility to those who may idolize you whether that is warranted or not. Cheer can be such a wonderful platform for girls (and boys) to find models for themselves to seek excellence and it is sad that sometimes things don't work out that way. I wish you the best, but know that you will be the best without my assistance lol!
