At 73, it appears to be the perfect old surfer board. It's no fun anymore carrying and haulin' around larger boards. It's more of a forgiving finest style board and not high octane ripper. Perfect for OG surfers.
Kenny Warner shaped a 6'3" single fin about 6" thick for Rod Smith in the early 70's that I ended up with. One of the most fun small wave boards I ever rode. It had a Pelican Mountain logo.
Great smooth stylistic surfing. On some really friendly equipment. Giving zero fucks and having a great time. Really enjoyed watching and enjoyed the tunes. Cheers brother!
Amazing how this guy makes one with the ocean flow. Such a privilège to look at him surfing. The music is perfect on it. Tanks a lot it reminds me Russ Short style 👌
It’s not the arrow, it’s the Indian. Dude could rip riding his front door. It is mighty cool how he carves the thing and accelerates out of bottom turns. Serious talent.
I have a 6’4” Kane Garden Big Fish with beautiful glassed in fins that looks and goes similar to this one! Perfect for making fun out of all kinds of mush here in the Northeast!
That board reminds me of the Gordon & Smith Magic series aka transitional shortboard. I had a 6'4" from Doug Haut that was fire! Fun outline for beach breaks, surprisingly good in waves with some guts... Bigger hull style fin pushed up in the adjustable fin box... jump on your turns and hang on!
I thought San Diego north county . Plenty of spots that break like that there . If it’s Mex , then I’m certainly close .lol! One other spot comes to mind in SD and that be the cliffs …….. it’s fun guessing and expressing my hypothesis. I’ve been surfing SD and Mex. My entire life! Thank you Universe! Thank you God ! I’m am truly blessed! Surfing and the lifestyle provides so much experience wrapped in Mother Nature best !
So flowy but strong. Super cool balance and blend of surfing. Back of board to turn then front of board for the vibe down the line. Way cool. What's the board?
When I was teen I had a Weber Pig that could do all the stuff that fish could do. The I went to North Shore and had no use for fat surfboards. Somethings come full circle again.
@@surfsavage2860 I know Joel. Surfed with him many times at Tourmaline when he was a kid. Saw him the other day at his shop in Del Mar. He ain't 6'5 by any stretch.
I’m impressed! That board catches waves really well, and it glides into a building swell, like a bigger board.

Simply beautiful!
What songs are these ?
Complete beauty
So nice. Amazing how no one else is surfing that wave.
I’d love to have one of those wide boards. I think they’d be perfect for my tall skinny frame.
I just bought a fat 5’10 50 liter quad and it has been a game changer. Perfect for tall skinny guys like us
@@harrymcaward8131 no way! I think my next board will be one of his. What are the dims?
One of the best videos I’ve ever watched

i have a kane garden 6’2 keel fish. my favorite board ever.
Wore out a 6'8" Kane Garden twinzer. Had bought it second hand. Made me look good, such a gem of a board.
I appreciate the smooth surfing!
I can watch this all day long!
Reminds me of my Gordon & Smith "fiberflex" skateboard, twin fins are so much fun!

So many wondering about the board….me thinks it’s more about the archer than it is about the bow.
There's a lot to be said for having the right board for the job, and then the experience to exploit it.
Wave IQ translates to any craft!
My favorite riding I’ve ever seen. I want to be more like this. I’m obsessed🌊
This is awesome, I need one of these
Great vid! But also I love the music here - is there anywhere I can find these songs?
Ok, so where the heck is that spot and why isn’t anybody else out there?
I think this is cottons 🤔dont quote me though

Hello boy

mushiest wave in the world, hard to tell if a board actually works in that, good surfing as usual
It works in mushy waves lol
This is an epic Florida day lol
¡Excelente, precioso!

Sic 👆Yeah Dude 💪💪
PEACE & Love 🌈🌎🌼 from Japan😃
Awesome!
Twins always remind me of "fat lady on roller-skates"...
I had a 6’4 quad that could convert to a twin….could catch anything on that board
If that's a 6'5" then the surfer is more than 7' tall.
It's Joel tudor
