      I have been very tired of the “all music - all the time” thing for many years now. In this case you are stuck with it. Drives me up the wall. It is not natural for humans to be forced to listen to music that is not of their choosing. I prefer silence. Music in stores drives me out - esp because it is usually stupid music fir teenagers. I out of here. keep your music and your teachings.

    This is THE BEST overview of MBTI dichotomies I have EVER seen. I've been researching MBTI topics here and there on my own for over 15 years. Watching this video, I learned some new aspects and descriptions I have never heard before. Great video. Who is this guy and why isn't he making more great videos? Edit: He's Ken Meyer. Got it. Thanks, self.

      MBTI is pretty much the flawed version of jungian analytical psychology. This guy can teach you how to quickly and accurately type people, and will give you a much more in depth understanding of each type.

    I'm INTP. I'm a mesomorph with instinctively great posture (Because that's actually comfortable), I make sure to get a couple hours early for work so I can relax before work, and I walk fast because I'm hardly ever comfortable due to social isolation. And actually, people who grow up socially isolated are introverts who can't stand not being around people. Introverted and Extroverted only mean that Introverts are Introspective and Extroverts are Extrospective. That's all they actually mean. But unlike Judgers, we introspective perceivers do instinctively stair at the ground a lot.
    The letter other dichotomies are also inaccurate.
    Thinking is actually an analog for rational
    Feeling is an analog for Harmony
    Sensing is an analog for Limits
    and Intuition is an analog for potential.
    Also, Judging actually just means Brash
    While Perceiving actually means Wary.
    EJ/IPs are called the Judicious types and IJ/EPs are called the Precarious types.
    NF/STs are Blue Pill types (Blissful ignorance) and NT/SFs are Red Pill types (Harsh Reality).
    Fi = Bliss
    Ti = Facts
    Fe = Even
    Te = Ranks
    Ne = Facets
    Ni = Wants
    Si = Needs
    Se = Tools
    And I've got a lot more research graphs if anyone's interested.

    I don't agree that Feelers are 'more empathetic' than Thinkers, though it can seem that way. Feelers just don't like conflict and thus avoid it. They can be just as mean, jealous, and conniving behind the scenes as Thinkers are straight upfront.

      I'm an INFJ, as is my Dad, and we take a super-long time to make decisions unless the topic is one in which we are already expert, or are already decided long ago. Yes, we LOVE planning things and carrying-out those plans, however, we take our good ol' time deciding what needs to happen and when. That said, once we decide, we push toward achieving that objective until we have obtained victory.

    Question: My girlfriend is very Introvert, while I'm very extrovert. Does it mean she lose energy from my present too? or is it just from other people she doesn't know? Will her work be less efficient if she works in the same room as me?

    • @alldayallnight84
      @alldayallnight84 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      uhh hi!
      It doesn't really work that way.
      She doesn't lose energy in your presence nor does she lose energy from other's presence and no, her work wouldn't be particularly lessened by your mere presence unless you to just argued or something.
      It's just she would most likely prefer to think or mull over things before engaging to a certain situation compared to you that would probably, most likely, jump in and get it over with in first glance.
      However, there are factors to be aware of and other possibilities to consider because human minds are complex and there are chances that would affect one's preference to engage [in this case].
      You should look it up more if you're interested hahaha.

      yes from an INTJ standpoint at least I find that my significant other drains me faster than others because I care so much about how he feels and his happiness. @brodericksiz625 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Speaking as an introvert, after too many hours at a time spent with anyone, including my girlfriend or my best friend, I physically need to be alone for a while. If someone walks in on me, asks me something or even speaks to me while I’m trying to have my alone time, I find myself resenting them, even if they’re not doing anything wrong, because I can’t help but feel it as an invasion of my personal space. Of course, I can spend significantly more time in a row with a loved one (as in, one loved one, adding a third person, even if it’s another loved one, drains me faster) than with everyone else without needing to spend time alone, but eventually I always seek to take refuge in loneliness. I noticed this trend well before I learned of Myers Briggs, but when I first heard about it I went like “yup, I’m definitely an introvert”.

    Palmistry works. The lines in your hand are set when you are created. Extroversion is a Head line separated from the Life line. If joined, there are different degrees of introversion. A first finger longer or same length as the 3rd finger is
    Leadership, the communicator. A logical intellectual type will have a short straight Head line. If the Head line curves downward and touches the mount of the Moon, you have an artist with great imagination. Perhaps only 1 in a hundred is like this. However, there are degrees of artistic emphasis. A thumb that bends backwards means the person is a push over. A straight sided thumb, person lacks diplomacy, like a General George Patton.
    Most people, 90% are diplomatic.
    Read “The laws of scientific hand (palm) reading” Any edition since 1899 will do.
    I have done it for 50 years and it works.
    I am EnFJ and my Palm lines confirm it.
    Leader, diplomatic, bold, artistic and part logical, passionate not too impulsive (judging-perceiving)

      Palmistry is not related to Astrology, Tarot or Zodiac signs. It is just found on a advertising page near those others. The Egyptians started it; then the Chinese continued it to this day.

    • @timberrr1126
      @timberrr1126 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The “logician” title is a roundabout title.
      INFP is closer to being an Actor.
      You are likely to talk alot. I am ENFJ.
      I often talk logically with a conclusive end.
      You don’t. However i dont speak like a robot
      You should be scary intuitive. I am very intuitive, but I think you are more so.
      There are about 5 sub types to INFP if i recall well.

    • @timberrr1126
      @timberrr1126 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are writing about palmistry, then logician would not be directly found. The artist, or warrior have distinct lines. But most of the qualities have to be interpreted from 1-3 lines. It takes experience.

      Most of this is pseudoscience. Nobody is born with a natural inclination for handedness, the reason it feels so natural to write with your dominant hand is because it becomes an engrained behaviour through repetition. This is the same for behaviour. As we grow older we inhabit various behaviours through mimicry or training.
      If you expect an explanation, you'll be stuck with people Mr. Handbook telling you that the creases in your palm indicate your personality and can divine your future etc.

      @@MechanicalMooCow A very logical response. I made a comment because I enjoyed the video yet found it incredulous that the speaker claimed we are imprinted by the time we are in the womb. However, I do like the test, not because I think we are predetermined, but because we have a natural inclination, I presume as a result of nature/nurture. I can deal with unpleasant truths, and I will respect the messenger for being honest, but I will resent someone who cannot even afford me the dignity of honesty. The worst is when I tell a feeler "I value the truth. I will not be offended. Honesty is the most important thing to me" and they STILL lie anyway. It is like a slap in the face.

    1. I walk very fast, I drive even faster, it's like if I'm not going faster than the next guy I'm not satisfied
    2. My posture is OK, not bad not good
    3. I often leave things 2 the last minute but I also don't want to or like to do the thing I left till last minute so is that just what everyone does? if I actually enjoy doing the activity or task in question, I would not be leaving it till the last minute
    4. I don't like it when others are late but I can sometimes be a little late coz I like to leave leaving till the last minute coz being early and waiting for others is a waste of my time
    5. I usually like to wait and see what happens until I've formulated a pattern in my head then I'm not gonna wait for anything and just assume the same pattern is gonna unfold next time
    So am I P or J?

Using the dichotomes of "N vs S" is what caused so many people to discredit MBTI, because its too binary and does not recognize that everyone is both I and E and N and S. Please research cognitive functions to get a good is inside view in the way people think. Never use the dichotomies. This video truly does mbti a disservice

      Look at how he describes Feeler and Thinker: "Feelers are about subjective opinions and harmony. Thinkers are objective and about logic". When in reality, FP and TP types are both subjective, Because Fi and Ti are subjective, even if Ti is about logic. And TJ and FJ types are both objective with Te and Fe, even if Fe is about feelings and values, because they are external. FJ and FP types are both "feelers" but only FJ types are SOMETIMES about "harmony" because they have Fe. FP types dont give a crap about harmony most of the time, because they have Fi
