I love how effortlessly you explain things that feel so complicated in my head! As a shy and underconfident 23 year old, I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone this year. And although I've managed to do so at times, I've also failed miserably in many cases. I feel this video will give me the boost of confidence and reassurance I need whenever fear gets the best of me. :) So, thank you, Nischa!
Wow, this video really hit home! It’s crazy how some habits that seem like good decisions can actually keep us stuck in a rut. I never realized how much comfort zones, perfectionism, and people-pleasing were holding me back. Thanks for breaking it down and giving actionable steps to start moving forward. Time to make some changes! 💡
Your first point about fear is absolutely right! Fear i would say is the number one reason that 90% of people don't go with a business idea or set up their own thing. Instead we play safe and take the wage and thus keep hold of the safety blanket.... When i let this go - it is the most alive i have felt, honestly. Unfortunately like a lot of businesses in the financial crash i fell foul of it and ultimately took the 'job' again for a steady wage for my young family at the time.... Fast forward touching 50 and still in another 'job' chasing targets, stressed, miserable, feeling trapped.... Let the fear go kids, of don't even have any in the first place!
Thanks Nischa! I have watched some of your financial videos before just out of interest. This video applies to so many people and really you just described all my current struggles. I hope I manage to change my ways. I need to start benefiting from the compound interest!
Thank you for this video. It's just a reflection I needed in my life now. The thermometer trap is something that I have been so trapped in and now realising that at 90 years and looking back at my life, I will only look at what I missed, not how badly I tried.
Acting lessons taught Mr how to express myself in all odd and different ways but at the end of what feels like humiliation actually flipped into confidence 😮
I am so grateful this video and channel got into my recommendations on TH-cam. So inspiring and exactly at the right time when I feel stuck. Thank you for your effort
This video was such good motivation! I realized that I have fallen for all of these with my French language learning. I have been planning to participate in a Meetup for French conversation and kept putting it off. Saying that I have to practice more. That I should hire a tutor first, etc. Your example of the loss of compound interest especially hit home. Oh, and looking back when I'm 90. Whew! If I had been participating in these conversations for the time that I have delayed it, I would be so much better now! And my 90 year old self would regret putting this off. Anyway, there is a Meetup online tonight that I just signed up for! I'm not ready and I will sound horrible, but oh well. Maybe in six months I will be a lot better! Thank you for the advice Nischa!
Comfort zone or growth zone? I’ve been stuck in the first one for way too long. The key takeaway here: Surround yourself with people who push you to do the impossible.
Hi Nisha! Your content is amazing 🎥 I'm working full-time in banking like you were, and while I'm passionate about TH-cam, I struggle to build momentum since my day job takes most of my energy and focus. Would you be able to do a video about how you balanced growing your channel alongside your banking career? Especially in those early days. Thanks for inspiring us working professionals trying to build something on the side 🙌🏾
Loved the video! I've definitely put myself into the trap of overpreparing over and over. Whenever my circumstances push me to make a move I'm not "ready" for, then I make progress.
Hi Nisha❤Im definitely guilty of the complexity trap, Im looking to start an online business but honestly only knows what i dont want (I dont want to be in public eyes). Im dedicated 1h/day to find an idea so I can actually do it, I find it so hard 😅
Love it! Wow! Thank you! I made all the changes I needed in the beginning of 2024, but it is funny and enlightening to hear you name the traps I have fallen into in the past, coz I did not really knew this is what it was.. I just thought: "I am scared" :D
Hello Nischa, the complexity trap struck me… I’m on the process of building a branding agency and, given that I don’t have a portfolio with branding experience, what I decided to do is build one. I share it in TH-cam with weekly videos. I am planning to do 3 projects (1 done, 2nd in the making, 3rd to be done) and then off to acquire customers, with a believable portfolio, so people can see I mean what I do. Am I falling in the trap? Or do I have an entirely different problem…?😅
How do you find the drive to earn money? I feel like being broke is my natural state of mind-it pushes me to hustle. But whenever I earn more, I lose motivation and wait until I don’t have enough again to feel driven.
Find something fun to do that also earns enough money. If it's just about the money it seems not sustainable. Find goals and a process towards that goals that make you happy. For many people, helping other people will make them happy. You can create a business from it. Win win = happy happy
That’s a good question and she answered you, it boils down to your environment. She answered at the start of the vid. You can know all the tricks, if energy is not there it becomes really hard. Am in the same boat as you. That’s why I made it my goal to go and find like minded people.
What are your retirement goals? My bet is that, right now, you don't believe you'll ever be able to retire. Once you start believing that long term goals are possible with the money you earn, it will become easy to save.
Always be yourself.Never let anybody tell you what You can and can't do. You drive your own future. Just like everybody else.😊 And the most important thing is always keep that small white.😁

All of your points are typically valid, but this 2nd point you made about fear disguised as wisdom was a highlight for me.
My dad has been telling me my whole life "Baby, you don't get or stay rich by spending money you don't have to." So *suluxy* are my go-to.
Great point of view Nischa. I love your positive attitude !
Doing informs deciding. Just keep doing the next thing. Progress not perfection. "Failure" is just valuable information.
Or maybe there's no such thing as failure. Only success and learning opportunities. The greater the challenge, the greater the learning opportunity.

The livestream was so good. Thank you again! I am feeling like I'm in a rollercoaster. Sometimes I'm brave and sometimes I'm fearful.
Thanks Nischa! I have watched some of your financial videos before just out of interest. This video applies to so many people and really you just described all my current struggles. I hope I manage to change my ways. I need to start benefiting from the compound interest!
So helpful, as always!
And by the way, your workshop was great and gave me some really good inspiration, which I worked on that very evening ✨
Thank you for this video. It's just a reflection I needed in my life now. The thermometer trap is something that I have been so trapped in and now realising that at 90 years and looking back at my life, I will only look at what I missed, not how badly I tried.
This is GOLD! Thank you so much Nischa
Thanks Nischa... Very insightful and just what I need to get a move on. Real!
I’m going to share this video with my Fijian tribe meeting later next month… thank you Nischa.
Acting lessons taught Mr how to express myself in all odd and different ways but at the end of what feels like humiliation actually flipped into confidence 😮
This is extremely valuable! The way you frame all these seemingly simple truths is so spot on, its really hits you. Thank you❤
Your real friends are the people who tell you the truth.
I am so grateful this video and channel got into my recommendations on TH-cam. So inspiring and exactly at the right time when I feel stuck. Thank you for your effort
This would be a great video to watch at the start of every day. ⭐️

Procrastination is my comfort blanket but I get around it by applying an 80/20 rule - get stuff done quickly and don’t worry about perfection

to simplify the solution id start there.
I feel called out by the maybe tomorrow trap...

Fear is ALWAYS a bad adviser.

Setting SMART goals & targets?
When you start investing and see your money work for you. Then you are going to want to invest more
Find something fun to do that also earns enough money. If it's just about the money it seems not sustainable. Find goals and a process towards that goals that make you happy. For many people, helping other people will make them happy. You can create a business from it. Win win = happy happy
