The S22's were great but they are a hypersport and not really what I wanted... They have to warm up to be at their peak and they are soft so they wear more quickly, but they are excellent for their purpose. The Road 6 on the other hand are a Sport Touring tyre, they have grip without needing to warm as much, longer wearing and better in the wet... I have used them for a while now and I am very happy with them.
@@Happyhound33 S22's warm up super quick(not even a factor) and are amazing in the wet, but not useful if used for longer riding or commuting or if live in a flat area dominated by straight roads-- purely a twisty carver or intermediate track tire. Now if it's a mostly track tire like Pirelli Super Corsa SPs yeah they require a bit of warming but not the usual hypersport tires. I know somebody who used Road 6s for twisty carving and just for comparison he wore the sides out with the middle having tons of life left and left him with an odd profile that had to replaced anyway even if the middle had like 4k left lol.... so it's interesting that it did the job like the hypersports but for his purposes had to be replaced about at the same mileage as them.
How do you like those tires? I thought the Battlax s22 were good.
