Fun fact: 2019’s dosal plates were changed because Haruo Nakajima passed away, so they made it a homage to him. Another fun fact, 2014’s design could have went thermonuclear if it werent for the homage and the team just wanting godzilla to be more versatile.

I completely agree 💯
2014 and Evolved were genuinely creative risks that captured the dinosaur-like quality of Godzilla.
I like the design in the middle movies but I sensed that Dougherty didn't respect the original 2014 design when he made Toho additions to the 2014 look.
Evolved Godzilla is the perfect design for me; the sharpened textures around his head/neck area are the right touch while pink happens to be my favorite color.

I like all of them. 2014 and 2024’s originality, 2019’s homage-paying design (3 of his dorsals are literally taken from ‘54 Goji and modified), and the vibrant colors are all what makes me love Legendary Godzilla.

I respect your opinions, also you forgot the Antartica Godzilla and the fearsome evolved Godzilla when he breaks out of the ice. You also forgot base GKOTM Godzilla . You should have also added the comic Godzillas, idk if u wanna count dagon because he’s a different Godzilla. But there’s also ancient Godzilla who looks like Godzilla Africa but meaner and a MASSIVE tail.

I have a complete opposite opinion to you tbh. 2014 was good, but kotm improves upon it with classic elements that naturaly work with the 2014 silhouette. And evolved godzilla is just... really really overdesigned imo

The Godzilla evolved pink magenta color was awful. Not Godzilla!! As a die hard Godzilla fan for many many years. Seeing all the different Godzilla design, I thought it was as bad as the 1998 Godzilla design. No,nope, notta!. Thats not Godzilla. Godzillas atomic blast has always been electric blue. Unless there was something wrong with him . Like in Godzilla vs destroyer. Otherwise Godzillas atomic power is electric blue!! PINK OF ALL COLORS!! WHATTHE??

​@tzill4 Yheah, you are right. I forgot about that design. It to was one of my most disliked designs. The too long mouth,and odd greenish color with purplish back fin plates .Those 2 movies were 2 of my least liked Godzilla films also. Great looking miniature cityscapes but with Weird looking CGI added in. But they still weren't glowing all pinkish like this so called evolved Godzilla . Nah. Not My kind of Godzilla. If this is what the monsterverse has in store for the big-G. Hope this is the last one.
