    Just got Android 13 yesterday on my neo and it seems like a very bug free version after testing it for a day. All in all it is one of the best phones i ever had. No stupid glass back. Very light and thin design. This is one of the only phones on the markets that really suits me needs. And it's just 260 bucks in germany right now.

      Awesome! Glad you're enjoying it. I must admit I thought it was a great phone and I loved that 120hz display. And no POINTLESS cameras on the back, just useful ones, that's always a plus!

      Completely agreed, I've been using mine since June as backup phone (also used as primary for a month). I like it, an underdog smartphone which does all tasks very well. I'm a little bit concerned by the battery life, I think it was better on Android 12. You can confirm?

    I think chapter headings would be really helpful in this video
    And I think you need a lapel mic as the audio together with music is really hard to follow. I have to strain

    My S20+ was very well capable and I´m very careful but I got the Infame Samsung green line. I´m done with Samsung. Just got one of those 30 neo. Afordable, good size, GREAT screen.
    My only complain is this shuter lag. Compared to the S20 is slower, but meageable. All the other is the same or better. Screen brightess under the sun is very good as res and refresh rate.

    • @ashdoestech
      @ashdoestech  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nice! I think in the case of some of the more budget phones shutter lag will happen. The processor in the S20+ is still flagship enough to not slow down just yet!
      But I thought the 30 Neo was a decent phone for the money, and a nice colour too!

    I love this thing. Amazing screen, superb audio, great pictures, super light and thin, I love the more normal size of the phone itself. I have my text set to very small so the screen can display a lot, and thanks to the great screen it's all clearly visible and readable.
    Only 270 euros is a steal for this phone. It does everything so well that I really have no idea what more you'd want or why you'd ever buy a phone four times the price. 10/10 from me.

    Hey, Ive recently gotten this phone and have been loving it but unfortunately i cracked the screen a month into use (the crack went thru the screen protector). Anyone know the cheapest way to get a repair in Aus because a lot of the repairs are half or almost the same price i purchased the phone 😊

    Hi.
    Is it okay that there will be a security update for a short time? I don't want to buy another phone for 2-3 years. Others say they are hacked if there are no security updates.
    Another question:
    Still no Android 13 update in Motorola edge 30 neo?

    As far as I know, the Motorola Edge 30 Neo only gets software updates for 2 years. I'm thinking about buying it, but I'm not entirely sure because it's almost 1.5 years old. How much could this affect the long term usefulness of the phone? Do you still recommend this purchase? Is there possibly another phone with a similar compact size in a similar price range? Sorry for the long question. :)

    Just purchased this and been messing about it with it solid for 2 days. Battery life is great. The only niggle for me, if you can call it that, is getting used to the on-screen fingerprint detector, after 3 years of using a rear mounted one. Overall this is great phone, especially if you can buy it discounted.

      @@ashdoestech What I find frustrating with Motorola is the vastly different specs that seem quite random so you never quite get the phone you want, I've seen reviews that say the G22 camera is better than more expensive Motos or you'll get a £200 Motorola with an inferior screen to cheaper models.
      Classic example right now is the G33 and G53 which I read a review on,reviewer said there are a few quite odd differences and if the best features of both phones were combined the result would be exceptional,rather than 2 similar but differently flawed devices.
      I think the newer ones are more flimsy as well,currently using my old G8 Power and that thing is solid, quite a few complaints about reliability from customer reviews on Argos etc when Motorola always had a reputation for being a bit dull but built to last.

    • @ashdoestech
      @ashdoestech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, I did a video ages ago on how confusing Motorola phones were and it’s still the case. Classic example now is the G52 to G53. The latter loses the 1080p display to 720p, it’s LCD over AMOLED, loses the ultra wide camera and has a lower res selfie camera. It’s clearly not an upgrade yet they continue to do it, very frustrating!
