That is one of the best ideas I've seen in a while! And thank you for doing a video dedicated to the lace! Just curious what your thought process was through the whole paint scheme. Like when you put the black base, then added the tape lines did you think any of the black would show through the silver. Would have loved to hear some commentary through the time laps of what went right and what didn't go as planned but still turned out cool as shit! Just a thought. But love your videos man keep up the kick ass work!

The lace design that you masked out with the points following the lines of the roof really made this paint job look 100% better IMO. You and your dad do great work.

I’ve never seen how that was done before so it was cool getting to watch the process. I know for your Dad it was nothing but for a guy like me that has never painted that was awesome!

Dude I like you videos the way they are . It's what makes you you!!! You're videos are better than pole barn garage. Just Just my opinion. Besides do t you want to do you're videos on you're own style or pole barn??? It's you're way of building you wouldn't be able to stop you're way even if you wanted too lol. It's called O.C.D lol. Pole barn has his own .Startin to go in VGG direction now like most of the others because of his success. Nothing wrong with that. But you aren't doing that yet so don't be youself brother!!. Either way you do what makes you want to build the cars.you build them for you !! We're just along for the ride!! Great work keep it up no matter what you choose. When you pull your tape always pull it back over itself. Not up but forward it’ll minimize it pulling the paint edge up and go SLOW. Hope that helps. Happy to see someone doing lace again .

Man we’re did you get your Porsche kit iv been looking but can’t find one
Found it in a storage building, they are rare as hell and only made like 50 kits. Porsche sued them for copyright infringement and they never made anymore after like 1986
At the beginning of this series, I could see your vision for the body. But was having a little trouble with the S-10 Blazer frame idea. As the series has gone along is has sucked me in, from week to week I can't wait to see the next video. This video is like the cherry on top. I wish that my current project was not a truck, because I would like to try this painting style. Who knows, maybe you have giving me a compromise paint idea for my project. Can't wait for your next video.

For a few reasons...1- She's just plainly a friggin badass set of wheels! 2- She's my most favorite car of the 50s, totally love the two door fastback! 3- You friggin built her, she has alot of... cut some shit up, weld some shit up she's plainly a Casey's Customs TH-cam Channel work of art! 4- I friggin totally love the spark throwing tail dragon turbo'd badassness you built into her! 5- The patina an lace work is totally a dream car of mine for at least the last 45 to 50 years of my life! I'm so blown away that the winner of the raffle didn't end up taking this car. I would've starved if necessary to have an keep this dream car of mine. how did you do to not make the fabric stick in the paint? (sorry for bad english)
If you do Several Light coats the lace never gets “wet” so it has no reason to stick. (Also your English is great 👍)

Enjoyed the video hope to do something similar to my truck. so just for understanding you put the black down for the base then put another color the lace then you switch back to the original color to fill the open spaces that way you have the part the lace covered pop out, I know its probably more technical then that didn't know if I was on track or far off.
Definitely move forward. You got so much room. And if it sits too high, you could drop a cowled hood on there! Love the content.

You and your dad did a great job. I love it. When you pointed out the pearl on the floor was that because it was sprayed on dry over the wet paint or mixed I the paint or sprayed in the clear coat? Thanks for the great video.

So what did you spray on top of the lace at first? Clear? Does it help stick it down before the color layer?
I think what it needed was voice over like HotRod Jen does. Still good though.
