You should not have told them it was vegan chocolate. They should have tasted it and gave blind reviews instead of being biased before they taste them.
I'm not vegan, but I am lactose intolerant and I found some of these reactions so be so bratty and biased. I agree with the other comments saying that they should have been told it was all vegan AFTER they tried them.
Comments like this happen when you like something that people in video don't. Pretty much every other taste video is the same - someone likes the product, someone doesn't. With rare exception when everyone share the same opinion. But now people are salty because it's VEGAN.
I like how obviously biased a lot of these people are from the beginning just because they know it's 'vegan food'. I'd like to see a video where they tried vegan food and genuinely didn't know it was vegan, and then we'd see how different their reactions would be :/
I like him too. He's so positive and such a foodie. He really quite enjoys everything. Him, the lady sitting next to him on this video, and the ginger haired gal that's usually paired with him on other videos. All three come across as so fun loving, carefree and positive. Throw in the long haired dude as well. I think his name is Paul.
Technically chocolate is vegan. Real chocolate is just cocoa beans ground up to a liquid/paste and then you add sugar and let it solidify into a chocolate bar. The chocolate you buy in stores had a bunch of other crap in it so that it has a longer shelf life.
+Anna Gump Actually there are all kinds of chocolate but first chocolate was used by Mayans and Aztecs, and it was bitter liquid which technically was vegan.
I feel like some people just decide to hate vegan foods just because they're vegan. They don't fully give it a chance because they can't get over the fact that it's vegan which is pathetic in my opinion. I understand that some vegan options suck but a lot of them are really great. The Lindt excellence 70% cocoa chocolate is vegan and amazing. My sister and I are obsessed and my sister isn't vegan.
I really don't want to start an argument here, so I will try and word this carefully. First off, I know I'm 2 years late. Secondly, I agree with you for the most part, carnivores do seem to avoid the word "vegan". I'm an omnivore. Yet, I am not here to praise the pleasures of meat. Nor am I here to condemn the pleasures of any other food group. I will however question the new age trend that is veganism. This is not at all an attack on people who choose to not eat meat. Not an attack on anyone. I just see several posts talking about how people immediately judge something because of the vegan label. Which, again, I agree with. It is rather close-minded. However, I also avoid the vegan label, but not because of a flavor bias. It is because the word vegan has become a trendy buzz word that pretty much has nothing to do with food. I have seen so many people say "Oh, I'm a vegan." with that underlying hint of I'm so trendy and cool attitude. I am sure there are people who genuinely dislike the taste of animal products. Yet, I fear there are so many more who go vegetarian or vegan because of A: trend, B: aesthetics. Both of which come from a fundamental dishonesty. Doing it for trend sort of makes one seem unable to think for themselves. Though the aesthetic annoys me worse. Someone once showed me a picture of a skinned cow on a hook and pointed at me accusingly "That's what you eat!" Others have called meat eaters murderers. As if no vegetable dies when picked and eaten. And, I'm sorry... I believe the person who showed me the skinned cow pic saw themselves hanging on that hook. It was not empathy for the cow. That is why I say it's aesthetic. I'll make a deal with militant vegans, I will feel empathy for the one cow that died to make dozens of hamburgers. If you recognize that you kill dozens of future strawberry plants when you eat one strawberry. Perhaps you believe every single seed passes safely through stomach acid? How many do believe survive sewage treatment? As the great reverend Maynard says. "Life feeds on life." I apologize Hailey, this was not personal, your post is just the one I randomly latched onto. I also apologize for my long-winded nature. I think too much. Ok, I'm done. P.S. Chickens are the most abundant bird on earth... because we eat them. Flightless birds usually don't last long against predators. Yes I know, some battery farms treat them horribly. I still question if being eaten alive by a fox isn't worse. Again, apologies, I don't post my thoughts often, so when I do... I type too much.
@@withoutwords7404 Well, more plants are used to feed livestock. So, vegans kill less plants than meat eaters. Not to mention, that plants are not sentient beings. Plants do not have complex feelings, desire to live or feel suffering. Humans do not need to rely on animal protein for survival. So, I ask is your taste pleasures worth more than other animals and the environment? Or do you deny climate change as well?
@@Noa...... Your point about us using plants to feed livestock is a damn good point. I thank you for engaging this with some thought instead of insulting me like the last post did. A post which I didn't notice until now. I find it hilarious that someone tells me that they are about reducing suffering (Or at least hint that they are) and then call me retarded. The point I think you both may be missing though. Is that I did not once make any kind of statement about anyone being wrong. I have no problem about people being vegan or vegetarian... and in no way do I promote suffering. My point was that I fear some people are doing it for trendy or selfish reasons. Not actual empathy. That it comes down to some people seeing themselves in the animal. So it comes from a egocentric "That looks gross and I wouldn't want that to happen to me" aesthetic point of view. Though, and I apologize in advance here... because one of you apparently doesn't know the difference between sharing thoughts and a personal attack. The points about sentience versus non-sentience are absolutely debatable. Are plants incapable of suffering? I don't - know - that. Acacia trees actually warn each other when giraffes are coming to eat them. What is the strict definition of sentience... because that seems like some kind of sentience to me? You guys sort of reinforced my point with that sentience argument because you are completely only seeing things from your own perspective. And regardless whether there is sentience. Pretty much every thing we eat... something dies. I don't mean to sound so cold. I just really don't like it when holier than thou vegans call meat eaters "murderer". And I think human beings in general need to get off their high horse. Because the truth of the matter is... we are all just guessing here. Sorry, that was a bit ranty and angry... because I also don't like being called retarded. I really don't mean to be argumentative here. This was not to start anything at all. Like I said, just sharing my thoughts.
@@withoutwords7404 People are vegans for different reasons. Be it health, environment, animals or religion. Does it really matter what reason motivates veganism? One vegan saves at least 200 animals per year by not eating their flesh. I am not even an animal lover or anything. I am a recent vegan because of environment and consistency with morality. Not actual empathy. But my defintion of an immoral act is to do with increasing suffering, violating well-being and denying informed consent. I have not come across any peer reviewed scholarly articles that suggust that plants are sentient beings. What makes it different killing a dog, a human or a pig? Why is the latter not considered taking a life? If I am against dog eating in china and south korea, does it matter who is on the high horse? Suffering is present when eating any kind of animals. When the farmers insert their arms in the cows anus, separate the cow from their child, killing male chicks from the moment they are born, watching the animals bleed to death or placing pigs in gas chambers. (Continue in part 2)
@@Noa...... Ugh... I just typed a whole... thing. Then lost it. You are absolutely right, what motivates people to become vegan/vegetarian... doesn't really matter. Was never really arguing a thing... just engaging in conversation. Went on a rant about how preachy people can be... which, in itself, is preachy. I know. I think I complained a bit about the previous poster again. I don't know. I lost it all... I think my main point was that I am not trying to change minds about anything. I just like to point things out I guess. I did have a small bone I picked though about the statement "Why is the latter not considered taking a life?" Which confused me a bit... because I never said one thing is taking a life, and the other isn't. I am saying that both sides take lives. Anyways, I lost my whole train of thought on that. Again, I wasn't trying to refute anything... I just like questioning things and engaging conversation. * shrugs * Thank you for not being as rude as the poster before you. I type too much, sorry, and no need to point out the irony of "Without Words" You wouldn't be the first.
Chocolate is already vegan, it's a fruit product, it's only the milk that companies add that make it not vegan, many many chocolates are vegan without you knowing it.
+Shin Hoseok No. Unless your taste buds are burned by processed flavoured shit (however "vegan" it might be, after all, chemicals are vegan), you can tell the difference.
venushalley i can't taste the difference at least and just sayin' not all vegan chocolates are full of chemicals, plus as the person above said almost all dark chocolate is vegan. Not know what kind of vegan chocolate you ahve tasted but the ones i have eaten was really good
Shin Hoseok i like the ones with high percentage of cacao... i had some substitutes that weren't good, because they tried to be the milk chocolate. they had weird after taste.
Depends. Coming from a vegan I find that the "milk" chocolates that substitute milk powder for rice flour or nut butter usually taste really good but the cheap ones that use soy taste gross to me.
That’d actually be brilliant, a lot of the people would probably hate the “vegan” food purely because they believe it’s fake meat, when in reality it’s probably stuff most of them eat every day.
It doesn't look like they bought the vegan chocolate snacks at the store, it looks like they attempted to make vegan versions of regular candy bars. The versions that are at the store look much better and probably taste better than the ones there too. Now, I'm just assuming that what was presented was homemade but I'm not sure.
+Katie Jones They tend to do that with most foods. I absolutely love banana cream pie but the one they made for one of the episodes was the saddest looking banana cream pie I ever seen lol. Between personal preference and different ways and ingredients of making the foods you can't take it very seriously.
***** Oh, the pies. No offense to the guys at Facts., but that pumpkin pie was 90% crust with like a spoon of filling. I am just concerned that they did not get the full pumpkin pie experience.
Madeleine Setzer No doubt!!! That wasn't a proper pumpkin pie at all lol. I let their questionable baking skills slide due to the high entertainment value lol
"You can't have a cup of tea, cause you're a vegan!' Damn straight. I, as a tea leaves rights activist, 100% agree that throwing these poor creatures in boiling water is just pure cruelty. Shame on you, tea drinkers.
I've noticed with a LOT of people, as soon as you tell them something is vegan, they'll be negatively biased toward it just because societal stigma says they should be. had it been a blind taste test, I guarantee you would have heard overall positive reviews, followed by shocked "that was vegan?! but it tastes like REAL chocolate!" comments afterwards. ironically, since chocolate (cacao) is a plant, and in it's most raw, natural state it contains no animal products until you add dairy to it... it doesn't really make sense to say it's not "real" chocolate because it's vegan. It's actually closer to the real thing without added milk, honey, butter, eggs and refined sugar, etc. also, please tell me a) how I can make vegan butterfingers and Rollo's! NEEEED! and b) how the fuck you're under the impression that I can't have an amazing cup of tea?! which I do several times daily? vegan diets are not restrictive. people think if you eliminate animal products all you're left with is salads.. really? if the only other thing you can think of to eat besides an animal is lettuce, who is really the one with the limited diet? 😞 vegan food means any food that you eat, minus animals. that's all there is to it. there is everything available just the same in the year 2016 that you could possibly want, and meat is not where we are meant to get protein and nutrients. the nutrition information we know from the '80s that is hardwired needs to be let go. the most simple and minimal amount of research will produce facts, case studies and endless data as to why a vegan lifestyle vegan is the best for your health, the future of the planet, and lessening unnecessary violence and the ripple effect animal agriculture produces. make the enlightened decision that is also selfless, and do your part. if going vegan isn't for you, that's okay too, but please cut down your consumption of meat and dairy and make an effort to understand that your diet choices have consequences for other, people as well as animals. and yeah, animals matter, all of them. if you wouldn't eat a dog, then you can't eat a pig without being a hypocrite, since they are just as intelligent and make amazing companion animals, too. who are we to use them for our selfish needs? that food chain bullshit is bullshit, and anybody who says it knows so. if you think that's true, then go kill a gazelle with your bare hands right now and eat it raw. go ahead, I'll wait. 😅 this got unintentionally very long but I'm in the ER right now and actually on a lot of pain meds because I think my appendix maybe inflamed. I'm even surprised I coherently wrote any of that. I won't remember that I did, but maybe one day it'll get a comment or a like and I'll be like, "oh yeah, I remember the time I went on a weird and lengthy tangent that all started over vegan candy". I blame the IV dilaudid.
+seitanismycopilot in the UK and Ireland, the practice of adding milk or cream to tea is ubiquitous. I assume that he means a vegan can't have a "proper" cup of tea.
Addressed and refuted at “Are pigs really smarter than dogs? - Will Pass”. Indian vegetarians die 20 years earlier than French omnivores, from heart disease as saturated fat is healthier than carbs. Almost every Blue Zone diet includes fish/shellfish. Fraudulent studies that mistake disease origin as animal instead of from calories, heat, nitrite. Veganism is a fantasy as everyone needs bees, dung, and pest control and soils don’t support all-human crops.
I don't know why people think Ryan is miserable, I find him absolutely hilarious. I think he just has dry humour which a lot of people don't get but yeah I love him 😍
No, she thinks chocolate comes directly from cows or some shit. Even if I'm not vegan, vegan chocolate is ALL THE WAY, too much milk and sugar in the classic brands, except maybe some exceptions.
+peepslostsheep You can substitute milk for soy or almond milk you know! You can also try drinking it without Milk as well. There is no reason why a vegan can't have Tea.
Malon2006 I am aware of all of those things. I am not defending his stance, simply explaining what he meant. Tea is typically served with dairy milk in Ireland.
+Malon2006 Look, in Ireland, a cupa tea is just tea, milk and sometimes sugar or honey. Yes we know about a lot of them milk substitutes. But with tea being such a massive part of our existence, when we think of tea, we think of the traditional tea. We are a product of our environment so it's just how we've been conditioned. And to us, the tea he's thinking of is the one we drink with our biscuits, and that's what they were talking about at that moment. Seriously, he wasn't being malicious.
Jordan S I didn't think he was being malicious, nor was I offended. Just was confused as why someone would consider it not vegan. Also thanks for explaining how the Irish drink tea. I knew a lot people put milk and sugar in Tea in Ireland, but I didn't know it is seen as a requirement. I generally tend to drink tea with no milk and no sugar, just plain(out of personal preferable and also its healthier). Most of the people I grew up have the opposite idea and thought putting milk in tea was strange. Cultural clash I guess.
It's a complete myth that vegan food is all disgusting or just rabbit food. It really isn't. I'm not a vegan, but there are a lot of delicious vegan meals and snacks out there. They would no more want to eat disgusting food than you would.
Chocolate means cacao with milk. If it had no milk it would just be plain, bitter cacao nibs, unless you added sugar. Yes you can make yummy chocolate with milk alternatives too. So regular chocolate is actually vegetarian, not vegan. Vegan chocolate with no milk or milk alternatives would not be chocolate. Choco (cacao) + late (MILK)= chocolate
+Heather Low How did you create a hyperlink in your comments? I am told to edit the description or add the #t with the minute and second to the video link but can't get it to work.
Rumer Priestly are you a fucking nutritionalist. No. I thought so. I bet your the kind of person that believes that the food pyramid is good or that everyone should only eat plants because the bible said so. And your wrong meat and eggs are very good for you.
what? so you didnt choose your career? you didnt choose to start going to gym? You didnt decide to marry a person, have children? if veganism is the best choice in your life.... Then your life is piece of shit.
+markog1999 The real question is if vegans should be allowed to marry non vegans. Should these type of interracial relationships be allowed, or is it a plight on mankind and Jebus/Allan(whatever you believe)?
Funny thing is meat usually is seasoned to make it taste good. Most seasoning except salt mostly comes from plants. Plants are what makes food taste good, I wouldn't want to eat chicken without seasoning it would be too boring.
You know what vegan chocolate is? Chocolate. If you read a lot (not all) of dark chocolate labels they're vegan without even meaning to be. Rather than recreating milk chocolate bars, they should have just done good dark chocolates that were already vegan. I avoid milk chocolate cause I'm lactose intolerant, and it turns out I like it more without even trying, it tastes more chocolaty, and you get more of the flavored profile, like tasting nice coffees.
rite? you can find really nice chocolate out there that's accidentally vegan. if all else fails, semisweet chocolate chips are usually safe in my experience.
I don't think any of them complained, did they? It wasn't like it was your chocolate. In my house that's the kind of shit we do. It's life. Some people are too uptight it seems.
"You can't have a cup of tea! You can't, because you're a vegan!" 0_o You do realize tea is just leaves and water, right? Unless you're using an intestinal sac as a tea strainer...
Judging by your english, I'd guess you're from North America. If so, you probably don't know the colloquial definition of tea in Ireland, i.e. a cup of Barry's or Lyon's with milk, full-stop, no exceptions. Chamomile, Oolong, mint, rooibos, etc. are referred to as 'herbal teas' here, while green tea is just called green tea.
+Ariel Griffiths Yeah, what the actual fuck? Even if you drink your tea with milk, there are brands of soy milk that taste exactly like cow milk if you're that damn fussy. =/ Personally I prefer a normal (not "milky") soy milk in my tea.
I literally had four cups of tea today! Two were herbal so they had no milk but the other two were basic teas and I had them with soy milk and they were perfect!
Being an Irish vegan myself, you really should have just gone into any health food shops and gotten like the mainstream vegan chocolate rather than this diy stuff😂 vego bars or moo free chocolates are the best you can get 👍 good to see a mainly positive reaction for most though 😊✌
Transitioning and in my experience it tastes better all dishes I have converted vegan are 10 times tastier in my opinion. And I don't even have to be a vegan it just tastier and better feeling. Meat is flavorless without spices and milk has weird weird taste. I would like to mentioned we don't use soy products in our cooking though mostly other vegetables and nut milks maybe that's why it's tastier for us? I don't like soy milk as a milk replacer but for meat it's tasty but we still don't use it, only on special occasion like for soyrizo instead of chorizo. Also I'd like to mention were all really good cooks in my family so that probably helps a lot especially my sis she is like chef level. Lol
+Josie Lopez Who else is endangering their mental health by denying the biological reality visible in our bodies: We're omnivores. We NEED a MIX of plants and meat. WE ARE NOT HERBIVORES! Going vegan increases your chances of suffering from paranoia and anxiety by 30%, because a vegan diet doesn't contain all the vitamins and minerals our brain NEEDS. Those who plan on going vegan, should also plan regular visits with their psychiatrist and doctor, as they are going to need it.
+Christian Hagen Meat gives no vitamins that a vegetable, bean, fruit, nut, or grain can't give. There is a whole lot of information that argues for both perspectives. Some state that a herbivore diet is best while others state that an omnivore diet is best. There are whole lot of conditions that a meat eater will get that will be very very difficult for a non meat/diart eater to get. Just because you can eat something does not mean you should eat it. A cat can eat vegetables, but it is bad for them. It can make there stomach upset and can even become fatal. When a human eats both meat and cheese, it causes the body and intestines to have to work extremely hard to digest the food which inturn can cause ulcers and stress on the body, which can effect your physical and mental state. So I advise someone who eats meat and cheese to choose between the other ( the best choice would be to eat meat). But when you eat meat you are still highly susceptible to having clogged arteries. Also it is proven that when you eat meat, the hormones within the animal at the time of their death can cause chemical reactions within the mind of the consumer. If an animal died when they were feeling fear, then that adrenalin can seep into your body and cause a mass of damage. It is also proven that if you are going to eat meat, you should stay away from raw meats, and red meats. You should eat non-salt water fish and chicken (and it's alot better if you raise your own animals). I doubt that the way a vegan eats and their mental state corelate. It may have more to do with the fact that most vegans have problems seeing dead animals everyday of their life, and their sadness for the animals has more to do with anxiety and depression ( people's nonchalant attitude to animal injustice can cause major anxiety as we) Or if a vegan has a vitamin problem, then they are not eating healthy, but rather eating crap like Reese's vegan chocolate. When I ate meat, I was low in iron, I was sleepy all the time, and got sick super easily. Since I've been vegan, my Iron % is actually above what is needed, I have tons of energy, and I no longer have allergies. A few natural elements that humans need to live -Iodine: found in many sea water animals and plants ( but these foods can contain a lot of mercury which is poisonus to the human body and can cause someone to become bupilar, schizophrenic, etc so it is best to by vitamins or droppers of Iodine) -Calcium: there is more calcium in a stock of brocoli than in a cup of milk -Vitamin D: We get this from the sun -Vitamin C: we get this from citrus fruits -Protein: found in meats, nuts, beans. (the only reason we need protein is for our body to be able to break it down for the Amino Acids that make up protein) -Amino Acids: fruits and vegetables -Sugar: fruit -Fiber: grain and vegetables -Potassium: fruits and vegetables -Carbohydrates: grain -Fat: meat and some fruits such as avocados -Magnesium: vegetables, fish, nuts -Phosphourus: nuts/seeds and fish -Vitamin A: fruits and vegetables -Vitamin E: nuts and seeds -Vitamin K: vegetables -Cobalt (what Vitamin B12 is made from): nuts and fish there is whole lot more essential nutrients but as you can see....fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, and grains gives us everything we need. You can live without meat, but not without fruits and vegetables.
Your videos have brought me so much laughter. I don't think you guys and gals can possibly know how funny you are on these. I've worked my way through all the taste videos, and it's wonderful. All of you are just great!
Bet they're fine with eating dogs as well, oh yeah they probably aren't and think that dogs are worthy of love, and pigs (more intelligent) deserve a life of suffering and agony!!111!!!!1!1! Because that makes sense!-!1!1!1!1!
You should have people taste vegan stuff and not tell them bc a lot of people get turned off by it bc they think all vegan food has to be gross just like if someone gave me something and said it was gluten free I would think it was gross before even trying it
+Sally Vee The tongue does lie, actually. We have an extreme bias regarding tastes based on the info we know about the foods we put in our mouth. This is a very easily proven fact and just plain well known.
....did he just say vegans can't have tea? I know he probably means we don't have tea with milk or cream but even that's wrong. A cup of chamomile tea with a spoon of stevia and splash of almond milk is the absolute only way to start winding down for the night.
+Cangel Tibon Tea and coffee are vegan. The rest of the crap that they put in there isn't. I drink tea without sugar. Drink it for the taste. You'll enjoy the tangy bitterness at the end.
+simplyoctaviok I've seen several people make this comment. I'm pretty sure they would ask people if they had any food allergies before giving them food.
I'm not vegan but I have tried a few vegan desserts because of a friend who is vegan and they honestly tasted very good. Some of these people are just bitter.
The word vegan ha such a stigma. Pure chocolate is vegan, the main fat source is cocoa butter, a fat from a plant. The reason chocolate becomes non vegan is when milk is added.
LMAO some " non-vegan " brands make dark chocolate that are dairy free which technically makes them vegan chocolate too. Just because it has the label vegan doesn't mean it's going to taste bad. BTW, Oreos are vegan too, so you might as well make a video having people test out normal Oreos and tell them it's vegan. 9/10 someone's going to complain and say " EWWW IT TASTES SO FAKE ".
The guy in the green jacket (I think his name is Ryan) hated on every single candy bar probably just to "prove" that non vegan chocolate is better like my gosh..so annoying
plain dark chocolate sold in nearly every supermarket is vegan, these are just home made alternatives to unhealthy chocolate snacks. Try either Magic Mayan, Ombar and The Raw Chocolate Company for the best vegan chocolates
+lillyscarlet They must have left out the most popular redheaded lass this time (I can't remember her name? But she's lovely) due to her just falling in love with almost any food you present her with? xD
+Happ MacDonald Laura! Yeah she pretty much just loves food. Everyone will hate something and she still thinks it's ok. Unless it's Tutti Frutti apparently.
alockh06 An emergency locator transmitter of an Aircraft also known as a Black Box is Red. Chocolate is made of cacao beans. White "Chocolate" has no cacao in it. Come on Sherlock. Why point that out? I wasn't the clever guy who named them.
Most of these aren't taste tests of chocolate, but of the homemade versions of the filling. If you really want a taste test of vegan chocolate, then give them just chocolate... not any of the other stuff mixed in.
I made vegan chocolates last night and took them to school with me today. Everyone loved them and were very impressed. Nothing ignorant like I had anticipated! Some people like a few on these types of videos do not have an open mind and somehow feel threatened by vegans and vegan food it seems. We are harmless.
Яapнaєl How did you know my name was Honey?! So I guess vegans are also immune to death by injury, chronic disease and viruses. I saw an article of the world's current oldest woman who east bacon and eggs every morning and has done for a century. Her name is Susannah Mushatt Jones if you care to research her yourself. I don't care if you're vegan, eat what you want! but if you're under the impression that everyone who isn't a vegan is at deaths door from poor health you are sadly mistaken. If you want some anecdotal evidence, I eat a lot of meat and recently went for a physical, you might say I am in the prime of my life! My younger sister had iron deficiency anaemia and basically only got better from eating lean beef.
Яapнaєl Funny, the article I read said she doesn't smoke or drink. If she did though, why the hell would I want to emulate her? I don't eat bacon and eggs every morning either, maybe once in a while. And you seem to have misunderstood why I brought up the anemia thing, never said anybody was special, and you are correct it has nothing to do with my sister dying, my sister is very healthy. I brought it up because she got healthy after eating that poisonous thing know as red meat, I was only making a point that non-vegans can also be healthy.
I hated most of these monsters who were clearly saying that stuff because it was vegan. If they did a blind taste test they woudnt have had that reaction, im sure!
One of them said "Animals taste better" which implies that he knows the harm that is being done to these animals for his "treats". Thats what makes me mad.
+Phil Nolan Carnivources? How ignorant are you? Humans are pure frugivources (very similar to herbivources). If we were carnivources we would also act like them. we would get excited and exilorated about seeing blood and ripping raw flesh apart. If you did that you would be considered crazy. All of our physical identical to that of a frugivoure and again almost identical to a herbivoure. We dont have any physical characteristics of a carnivour or omnivour that a frugivour doesnt have himself. Get you facts straight!
I'm pretty sure Ryan decided he hated each chocolate before even tasting them. You shouldn't have told them they were vegan until afterwards.
+Meh is Ryan the dick in the navy and green track suit top?
+brian whittle That's him.
Exactly.
true. I don't tell vegans when I secretly feed them animal based products, so why should they tell these people that they are eating vegan stuff.
sinxincarnate the areshole said what?
You should not have told them it was vegan chocolate. They should have tasted it and gave blind reviews instead of being biased before they taste them.
true!!!
I totally agree.
that would be a horrible trick
+La Mode Operandi Agree also, least the two that liked them wasn't biased.

lol, true!

+Liz C (Sailorbabs)
Uh, yeah, no, I've tried vegan candy without being told it's vegan, and it does taste pretty crap, yeah.
+Len the Trendy Tetraodontiforme I have too. It's shit

Lol bratty? I am vegan and they can react how they want. I don't pretend they're talking about me and take everything personally.
I like how obviously biased a lot of these people are from the beginning just because they know it's 'vegan food'. I'd like to see a video where they tried vegan food and genuinely didn't know it was vegan, and then we'd see how different their reactions would be :/
Anyone else in love with that sexy grey haired man? Btw, He and the lovely lady beside him both are so neutral, honest and positive.
Yes he is so hot.
Charlotte Christian he's so hot!!
Charlotte Christian he's one of the only reasons i watch facts. so adorable... that and the accents 😍
I like him too. He's so positive and such a foodie. He really quite enjoys everything. Him, the lady sitting next to him on this video, and the ginger haired gal that's usually paired with him on other videos. All three come across as so fun loving, carefree and positive. Throw in the long haired dude as well. I think his name is Paul.
he is the bomb the most upbeat dude

it's only not vegan because of milk
Djofminecraftia Not all chocolate is made with milk/dairy products.
"You can't have a cup of tea, because you're a vegan"
What actually do you think tea is made of hahaha.
tea over here is usually mixed with milk
+Aeryazz ok that made more sense. I was like "how can boiled tea leaves not be vegan?"
Aeryazz Ahh okay.
Soy milk goes just as well in tea too
most brands of tea include small amounts of gelatin. do you even know what gelatin is made of?
Blood Doll Yes, I do. But I haven't found a tea that includes gelatin here in AUS yet. Although, I do admit I don't drink a lot of tea.
I don't
- know - that.

Oh my goodness 🙈 she said it tastes like fake chocolate. Vegan chocolate is actually waaayyy closer to real chocolate then Hersheys is
Seriously tho, vegan chocolate taste almost the same as original chocolate. Sometimes you can't even taste the difference between the stuff.

i like the ones with high percentage of cacao... i had some substitutes that weren't good, because they tried to be the milk chocolate. they had weird after taste.
Depends. Coming from a vegan I find that the "milk" chocolates that substitute milk powder for rice flour or nut butter usually taste really good but the cheap ones that use soy taste gross to me.

I want someone to do a video where they trick meat eaters into thinking are eating vegan food meanwhile it's not
So you want a video of people eating gross shit and totally not being fooled by it?
Lumi Jussila omg yes
@Andrew Kaminskas - how is vegan food 'gross shit'?... vegan food is nice...
That’d actually be brilliant, a lot of the people would probably hate the “vegan” food purely because they believe it’s fake meat, when in reality it’s probably stuff most of them eat every day.
@@GymmyRhys but he was saying they're eating non-vegan food and told it's vegan
It doesn't look like they bought the vegan chocolate snacks at the store, it looks like they attempted to make vegan versions of regular candy bars. when doing these types of taste videos, you should let them try it and THEN tell them it´s vegan
vegan food means any food that you eat, minus animals. that's all there is to it. there is everything available just the same in the year 2016 that you could possibly want, and meat is not where we are meant to get protein and nutrients. the nutrition information we know from the '80s that is hardwired needs to be let go.
the most simple and minimal amount of research will produce facts, case studies and endless data as to why a vegan lifestyle vegan is the best for your health, the future of the planet, and lessening unnecessary violence and the ripple effect animal agriculture produces. make the enlightened decision that is also selfless, and do your part. if going vegan isn't for you, that's okay too, but please cut down your consumption of meat and dairy and make an effort to understand that your diet choices have consequences for other, people as well as animals.
and yeah, animals matter, all of them. if you wouldn't eat a dog, then you can't eat a pig without being a hypocrite, since they are just as intelligent and make amazing companion animals, too. who are we to use them for our selfish needs? that food chain bullshit is bullshit, and anybody who says it knows so. if you think that's true, then go kill a gazelle with your bare hands right now and eat it raw.

Tea typically is served with milk in it in Ireland.

+Josie Lopez vegans ftw!!!

-Cobalt (what Vitamin B12 is made from): nuts and fish
there is whole lot more essential nutrients but as you can see....fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, and grains gives us everything we need.
You can live without meat, but not without fruits and vegetables.
Homie in the green had me dying 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Your videos have brought me so much laughter. I don't think you guys and gals can possibly know how funny you are on these. I've worked my way through all the taste videos, and it's wonderful. All of you are just great!
"what i learned is animals taste better" whats wrong with you
I don't think they understand how vile that sounds
Bet they're fine with eating dogs as well, oh yeah they probably aren't and think that dogs are worthy of love, and pigs (more intelligent) deserve a life of suffering and agony!!111!!!!1!1! Because that makes sense!-!1!1!1!1!
That guy with the red scarf or turtle neck, whatever the fuck, he is so cynical and I love it. "Those poor vegans... And their life choices."
You should have people taste vegan stuff and not tell them bc a lot of people get turned off by it bc they think all vegan food has to be gross just like if someone gave me something and said it was gluten free I would think it was gross before even trying it
+Sally Vee sure
+Sally Vee The tongue does lie, actually. We have an extreme bias regarding tastes based on the info we know about the foods we put in our mouth. This is a very easily proven fact and just plain well known.
Sally Vee Actually I'm not vegan. In fact, I really can't see how I'd ever live my life without medium rare rib eye steak.
I ship Paddy and Ann, they seem to bounce off each other well, and they're super enthused about everything.
Ryan's reactions are my fave omg
"And if it's healthier, we're on to a winner." I wish people didn't have this stupid idea that vegan/vegetarian = healthier.
Agreed. It's a flawed diet AND ideology.
What?
well it is. NO matter if you're a junk food Vegan or not, plant Food is still healthier.
@Tamya: Not always.
I hate to tell you this, but it is actually a healthier diet.Look it up you don't believe me😄
I love how there's that one couple of people that love all of it and everyone else hates it lol
"It's like chocolate and asbestos" HILARIOUS
Hmm funny the people who were more upbeat and enthusiastic (and open minded) seemed to enjoy them more lol
+The Uncanny One dont cry
+Ciarān Carvill Christ did you grow up in Strathroy?
+The Uncanny One haha nah, not too far away tho
Okay Ryan we get it.
....did he just say vegans can't have tea? I know he probably means we don't have tea with milk or cream but even that's wrong. A cup of chamomile tea with a spoon of stevia and splash of almond milk is the absolute only way to start winding down for the night.
+Cangel Tibon Tea and coffee are vegan. The rest of the crap that they put in there isn't.
I drink tea without sugar. Drink it for the taste. You'll enjoy the tangy bitterness at the end.
Most chocolate over 80% is vegan.... This vegan chocolate dosnt even exist to most of us, we just eat dark chocolate
that's what I was thinking this whole video is that it was probably just dark chocolate
"i was vegetarian for 2 weeks cause i couldn't afford anything else"
yea ,ive had weeks like that in childhood XD
You shouldn't have told them it was vegan, and just how they react without the knowledge.
+idkyetdou yeeeeah watch someone die bc you decided not to tell them that what they are eating they could possibly be allergic to, real brillant
+simplyoctaviok I've seen several people make this comment. I'm pretty sure they would ask people if they had any food allergies before giving them food.
+simplyoctaviaok if you have a major food allergy, it isn't very wise to make food related react videos.
I'm not vegan but I have tried a few vegan desserts because of a friend who is vegan and they honestly tasted very good. Some of these people are just bitter.
What would actually be funny Is if Facts just said "Oh, We're just messing with you this is normal candy LOL"
Im just down in comments to read all the angry vegan comments and arguments.
me too, except I'm planning on add fuel to the fire
Vegan insecurity everywhere
loool same, the triggering is real
+514SpaceMonkey nah theres definitely more vegans saying how they shouldn't have told them it was vegan and complaining about that one dude
***** I guess sense of humour is one thing that even ex- vegans never regain.
The word vegan ha such a stigma. Pure chocolate is vegan, the main fat source is cocoa butter, a fat from a plant. The reason chocolate becomes non vegan is when milk is added.
aw you shouldn't have told them it was vegan
LMAO some " non-vegan " brands make dark chocolate that are dairy free which technically makes them vegan chocolate too. Just because it has the label vegan doesn't mean it's going to taste bad. BTW, Oreos are vegan too, so you might as well make a video having people test out normal Oreos and tell them it's vegan. 9/10 someone's going to complain and say " EWWW IT TASTES SO FAKE ".
"You can't have a cup of tea, because you're vegan!" died, haha
The guy in the green jacket (I think his name is Ryan) hated on every single candy bar probably just to "prove" that non vegan chocolate is better like my gosh..so annoying
*Chocolate bar
Ryan is a true Donegal man, honest and true
***** He just annoys me.
Here's an idea... don't tell them the chocolate is vegan in the first place?
plain dark chocolate sold in nearly every supermarket is vegan, these are just home made alternatives to unhealthy chocolate snacks. Try either Magic Mayan, Ombar and The Raw Chocolate Company for the best vegan chocolates
Other than the Butterfinger, Paddy and Anne were digging it. Rays of sunshine amongst the gloom and doom.
- Almond milk
-Soy milk
-Oat milk
-Rice milk
-Hazelnut milk
-Cashew milk
Would you like a cup of tea Mr 1:30?
None of those things are milk, they're nut juice
alockh06
An emergency locator transmitter of an Aircraft also known as a Black Box is Red.
Chocolate is made of cacao beans. White "Chocolate" has no cacao in it.
Come on Sherlock. Why point that out? I wasn't the clever guy who named them.
Tea in Ireland is Lyon's or Barry's with milk - actual milk - no exceptions.
An Práta Mór
Ahh ok then, that makes sense now.
Vegan chocolate i.e. all good dark chocolate, silly rabbits
the guy in the green is very rude and annoying act your age boy
+Lia Zabala Someone's vegan!
+Doc No I'm not vegan I just know how to be respectful and act like an adult.
+Lia Zabala Sounds pretty boring.
IKR he just sat there with his mouth full like a mindless potato.
+Lia Zabala Yeah how dare a grown man give his opinion!? You acting like an adult by calling out a comedian who is never gonna talk to you XD
Most of these aren't taste tests of chocolate, but of the homemade versions of the filling.
If you really want a taste test of vegan chocolate, then give them just chocolate... not any of the other stuff mixed in.
"Is it a Snickers that got kicked around the f***ing playground" Lmao I'm dead!
I made vegan chocolates last night and took them to school with me today. Everyone loved them and were very impressed. Nothing ignorant like I had anticipated! Some people like a few on these types of videos do not have an open mind and somehow feel threatened by vegans and vegan food it seems. We are harmless.
Oh vegans... I'm against cruelty to animals and all, but some of them are just so delicious
what do you mean there were no but to but about you fhfjglf
Yes they taste good, and no, you are not against cruelty :)
My favorite thing is reading all the offended vegan comments
DanielConley I was about to write that. Not even religious discussions get this ugly.
And it's all targeted towards the poor lad with the green hoodie, guy obviously was upset he wasn't going to be getting the chocolate he was expecting
"it's like fake chocolate" do u know chocolate is a plant
Kate it's not a plant. Cacao beans are part of a plant. Chocolate not only contains cacao beans.
I love watching the Irish taste tests just because their comments are so brilliant.
"I was vegetarian for like 2 weeks because I couldn't afford anything else." Been there.
she was so right, i'd rather go full carnivore than vegan
+Яapнaєl You'd die also, vegans are not immortal. How long do you think you are actually going to live?
+Яapнaєl It's not like humans spent thousands of years evolving to digest meat better than vegetables! What a fucking moron!
I hated most of these monsters who were clearly saying that stuff because it was vegan. If they did a blind taste test they woudnt have had that reaction, im sure!
+Michael Guarneri Disliking a food doesn't make you a monster.
One of them said "Animals taste better" which implies that he knows the harm that is being done to these animals for his "treats". Thats what makes me mad.
Michael Guarneri
Maybe he's just willing to accept that people are carnivores.
Michael Guarneri
I'm sure our sharp, pointy teeth and intended to tear into the flesh of a cabbage. Get your facts straight.
pretty clear most of them have pre conceived notions of vegan chocolate being bad.
The guy in the green jacket just didn't want to accept that the food was actually delicious hahaha😂
I support the vegan lifestyle, and that vegans should be able to marry eachother.
