As artist most of us have done portraits at some point. Feel is such a critical part of this work if you don’t feel it you can’t paint it.

I have been trying for years to get better, and every time I try, I learn something when it comes to portrait art (my passion). Unfortunately for me, there are no short cuts, only hours and hours of trying. That's what pleased me when I read your comment; you get it. It's not the paper, the brushes, the pencils, or the colors that make a great portrait, it's merely practice. Keep trying no matter what, and you will succeed. Good luck :)

fearless,after getting it looking good the artist is quite confident to wash over or change tones. I am thinking it is going to get messed up,but it gets even better. amazing.
