I do that in a small case and I hear my rear cargo box but in the cold the GoPro camera itself gets ice cold and within 5 mins your back to having issues. It’s a constant struggle lol. All part of the experience.

Tip from Polaris tech .... I trust him ...... he said after you fill trans, elevate the unit high enough to add 2 pints more fluid ..... he, they, said it helps lubricate upper bearings in the trans ..... changing to Lucas, Amelie or RedLine fluid is a must ....... Polaris lubricants go to the lowest bidder ..... not good ...... start with Mobil 1 and substitute where ever ...

My rzr is getting the snorkels redone, front diff fixed, new front axles, and just put on a set of outlaw radials. Can't wait for the next video. #TEAMAJP

ST springs are great!! They will settle once though and you will need to re adjust your ride height. I’ve only had to do it once with my DR springs from them. Very happy so far!

Great video. I am looking forward to heading to the camper and riding the iron horse trail later this week. My camper is 15 mins from the trail . It has over 350km of old retired rail way bed which can access more secondary trails and country back roads . It’s not extreme riding but pleasant views and passes through several small communities through eastern Alberta. If you want mud there are plenty of areas to get dirty . Lol. I enjoy your channel great content . 👍.

I’ve done them dozens of times in this machine over the last 5 years and haven’t had an issue. You need to go absolutely crazy to make it an issue. None of us have ever had a problem.

Unfortunately I know what you mean about the clutch wear. Didn’t realize until I lost a ton of top speed. Clutches were worn really bad. Have new clutches now, and back mobile. #TeamAJP Do you know Is there a Canadian dealer for aftermarket assassins clutch kit and tuner? Running stock tires but a lot of the same super atv and McNasty gear like the battle wagon. Just want to wake it up a bit more. Lol
Hey man, ya I learned my lesson the hard way too. Let the clutches get too bad the first time I serviced them and recently had to replace them like you saw. I ordered straight from Aftermarket Assassins. Shipping wasn't bad at all and my stuff got here quick. Duty and brokerage was a little rough but its like that on anything and exchange always gets us. If you order from a "dealer" prices won't be much different because they still pay shipping and duties on the stuff too and then also need to make a few bucks. It's well worth the money, the machine feels wicked with their goodies.
I will do a fluid change after 100 miles and see how the oil looks and if any metal on magnetic drain plug. I might experiment and add 25% of Lucas oil stabilizer…so 75% gear oil and 25% stabilizer.

Bigger tires are nice but brings bigger problems in the long run unfortunately! Especially sticky tires! Everything has a trade off! I’ve went back to stock 30” on my ride. After killing some clutch components and trans axle issues! And so far much less issues!
Ya… tire size is by far the biggest trade off. Different riding styles, conditions and machine setups all affect what’s best. There are benefits to a 32 and cons too over a 30. It really depends what your after. Far from a one size fits all.
I heard people complain about the Polaris brand transmission oil and I'm looking for something better to replace it with what was the exact oil you ended up using?
Hey Mike, I have to say that they honestly have surpassed my expectations. Currently they are tied for my all around favorite trail/mixed use tire with the System 3 XTR 370. Price wise they are hard to beat and I feel that is a huge deciding factor for most people. As I've mentioned before they do measure on the smaller end. My 32's measure about 30.5 on the machine at trail pressure. So what I recommend is you order a size above what you want. I have nothing bad to say about them though. They hook up really well, clean out well when you spin them, air down well and seem to have a very tough sidewall. Overall I can comfortably recommend them as a top choice. I love them.

When you change your oil do you recommend using Polaris brand oil? I got a sportsman 450 at the beginning of the year and it says it needs a service, but I’m not sure if I should just get regular oil or the Polaris oil.
Man I know all about working on your machine for hours taking it out and having problems. Did a rs1 swap in my xp4 1000 took it out out now in 4wd at full turn it sounds like it's binding and grinding. Can't figure out what is causing it axles or diff of maybe it just needs to break in. #TeamAJP
Oh no!! Really!? I’m gonna be doing the conversion this week. Hope it turns o he well. Are you running turbo axles? It shouldn’t make binding and grinding noises. That’s not part of break in… that more like a part of “break it” lol.
That's kinda what I figured but am also having a hard time figuring if it's axles or diff. It definitely doesn't feel right. I did end up with demon axles and I remember you saying that they are the worst axles you can run. So i kinda want to get a different kind but don't really want to spend money on new axles if that's not the problem. As far as installing everything it went rather smooth. I did get rs1 axles I guess I gotta pull it all back apart and see what's going on
Hey Steven, I can't make up my mind. I want to change it out before next ride and I'm just leaning towards AMSOIL's substitute for the OEM AGL fluid. I've heard so many mixed opinions I'm not sure what to run, lol. I'm open to feedback or suggestions.

Hey Alex. No issues at all. Even with my aftermarket axles they were fine with it. I’ve always had excellent experiences with the Polaris warranty. Even when they deny something you can often appeal it and reapproach the the case through your dealer. The number one biggest reason claims get denied are due to a shortfall on the dealership end. The dealerships job is to advocate for you. They are your middle man. If the dealership goes to bat for you then Polaris will usually play along too.
Yup 100%. I ended up blowing it in an upcoming winter ride. Last winter ride of the season the RZR took some carnage. The diff was part of the casualty list. Wait till you guys see that video. Soooo much action lol. Just got my RS1 diff and adapter bracket from Joe Coffman at CCM this week in the mail. I also got him to fully build it using his “Hill Killer” specs. It’s gonna be a beast with the new diff. Hoping to swap it in this coming week!
@@hubelit super happy to hear that man!! I did a bunch of research and everyone recommends it and after chatting with the guys at Coffman Machine I was convinced. They are swamped building these diffs. They were telling me it’s hard to Keep up with all the demand which also usually means it’s the right choice.

Hey Zach. I kept the stock fluid in it for the first few rides. I wanted to make sure everything was OK with it and incase it wasn't I didn't want to take it back to the dealership and have anyone try to blame any issues on the fluid. I'm just about to tear the machine down for some work and I'll be swapping over fluids. Not sure what I'm gonna run yet. I've read some conflicting stuff online and I've been trying to decide whats best. I'd love some input on what others are running and why.

They are amazing. I’m so happy with them. The machine feels so much better. Ya, they did settle once. Took a few times to dial them in just right.
Instead of a battery switch you could just put it on a battery tender to keep it fully charge all the time and reddy to go every time you use it

They hook up really well, clean out well when you spin them, air down well and seem to have a very tough sidewall. Overall I can comfortably recommend them as a top choice. I love them.

I’m heading to Montana in November for a two week mule deer hunt… need new tires, these Zillas are terrible on snowy roads, great for trail riding and rock crawling though. I’m down in Kentucky, there’s a lot of great trail riding in eastern Kentucky, you guys will have to come down and visit. Stop into hollerwood or S tree on your way down to ride royal blue/brimstone/Windrock….some gnarly stuff!!

When you change your oil do you recommend using Polaris brand oil? I got a sportsman 450 at the beginning of the year and it says it needs a service, but I’m not sure if I should just get regular oil or the Polaris oil.
So Polaris warrantied your trans with bigger then stock tires and clutch mods?

Man I know all about working on your machine for hours taking it out and having problems. Did a rs1 swap in my xp4 1000 took it out out now in 4wd at full turn it sounds like it's binding and grinding. Can't figure out what is causing it axles or diff of maybe it just needs to break in. #TeamAJP
Oh no!! Really!? I’m gonna be doing the conversion this week. Hope it turns o he well. Are you running turbo axles? It shouldn’t make binding and grinding noises. That’s not part of break in… that more like a part of “break it” lol.
That's kinda what I figured but am also having a hard time figuring if it's axles or diff. It definitely doesn't feel right. I did end up with demon axles and I remember you saying that they are the worst axles you can run. So i kinda want to get a different kind but don't really want to spend money on new axles if that's not the problem. As far as installing everything it went rather smooth. I did get rs1 axles I guess I gotta pull it all back apart and see what's going on

Hey Steven, I can't make up my mind. I want to change it out before next ride and I'm just leaning towards AMSOIL's substitute for the OEM AGL fluid. I've heard so many mixed opinions I'm not sure what to run, lol. I'm open to feedback or suggestions.

Did they give any issues warranting the tranny since you have a clutch kit?
Hey Alex. No issues at all. Even with my aftermarket axles they were fine with it. I’ve always had excellent experiences with the Polaris warranty. Even when they deny something you can often appeal it and reapproach the the case through your dealer. The number one biggest reason claims get denied are due to a shortfall on the dealership end. The dealerships job is to advocate for you. They are your middle man. If the dealership goes to bat for you then Polaris will usually play along too.

Front diff is definitely shot... it was ratcheting pretty badly last video and that's what probly did it in...
Yup 100%. I ended up blowing it in an upcoming winter ride. Last winter ride of the season the RZR took some carnage. The diff was part of the casualty list. Wait till you guys see that video. Soooo much action lol. Just got my RS1 diff and adapter bracket from Joe Coffman at CCM this week in the mail. I also got him to fully build it using his “Hill Killer” specs. It’s gonna be a beast with the new diff. Hoping to swap it in this coming week!

@@hubelit super happy to hear that man!! I did a bunch of research and everyone recommends it and after chatting with the guys at Coffman Machine I was convinced. They are swamped building these diffs. They were telling me it’s hard to Keep up with all the demand which also usually means it’s the right choice.

How has it been running 75w90 in the new trans?
Hey Zach. I kept the stock fluid in it for the first few rides. I wanted to make sure everything was OK with it and incase it wasn't I didn't want to take it back to the dealership and have anyone try to blame any issues on the fluid. I'm just about to tear the machine down for some work and I'll be swapping over fluids. Not sure what I'm gonna run yet. I've read some conflicting stuff online and I've been trying to decide whats best. I'd love some input on what others are running and why.
do you have any rpm parts on your rig? Ive been checking some of their turbo stuff out and it seems pretty legit.
