I agree with buying authentic bags, I paid a compliment to an older lady in target today she was carrying a speedy 30 her bag had a beautiful patina on the leather trim an handles she told me she had it for 20 years, that is a testament to QUALITY

I absolutely recommend the speedy 30... Having both the 25 and 35, I feel like the 30 is a perfect medium... Not too small, and most certainly, not too big. I wear it both ways. Usually, I wear it around my arm, but when it gets a little tiring, I hold it with my hands.

aw i love this! i was hesitant on getting the MM or GM cause i felt the GM looked huge!! but it is true you can make it look a lot smaller by cinching in the sides. thanks for affirming that! and yess only a small difference between MM and GM.

hiiii!!! Definitely go for the medium-sized Pegase 55. That is the one I have and I feel like it is the perfect size and very comfortable to travel with. It fits on all over-head compartments and you can fit a week's worth of clothes in it. I absolutely adore it & I never travel without it. Additional to traveling with the Pegase, I always travel w/ my Neverfull GM. I feel like it is very comfortable and I can always attach it to the top of Pega w/ the leather strap the Pega brings on top handle
I love and collect Louis Vuitton too. I'm 18 and I got a neverfull GM and the Alma bb for my senior beach trip as a graduation gift last June and I just fell in love. I've gotten a few accessories since then, but my next purchase will be a speedy bandouliere 30 (hopefully, it comes in Damier Ebene soon)

It's a "safe" luggage bag as it is very hard to scratch or get ruined quickly, unlike the more "colorful" leather bags such as vernis and epi leather. However, considering you will be rolling it around a dirty airport floor, I would suggest to save your money as much possible! I love Pegase 45 in Damier Graphite Canvas. Looks great in person! So chic!! xox :)

See, here is my perspective on the matter.... For that price, you can buy a fabulous Chanel, YSL or any other leather handbag with much better quality. Remember, LV is mostly "canvas" so it is not real leather, expect for the parts that change colors (i.e. straps and handles). I think the Artsy is overpriced and uncomfortable.
lol i have the azur print i've had it for almost a year now and it's still in perfect condition. I wear it every day and i'm not too sure what you're talking about with the whole jeans thing. Don't let that stop you from getting it I think the white's really classy!
@xVogueVuitton The bags do not scratch easily, but try your best to take good care of them since it is quite an investment. Hopefully you don't go falling everywhere haha!! My biggest advice is to stay far away from rain and water as you can, for that will cause the leather straps to turn a different, darker, color wherever the water spots fell. And always keep your Louis in it's dust bag (provided during the time of purchase). Enjoy the first of hopefully many more LV bags to come!! xox

Hmmm...about the Damier, I can see why it would happen, however, the only thing I have kept in it (recently, since a few weeks back) has been a white leather holster for my phone. Luckily, I have not had any issue and it still remains white. I would definitely encourage you to get a small purse organizer (great finds on E-bay) and place everything in there to avoid any more mishaps.

I also got that bag on my 18th birthday (along with the International wallet) and it is still a true classic. I wear it everywhere and it matches with everything I wear!

It just looks I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E :) You can always go to the store and have them take out all the sizes so you can see how it looks on the mirror. That is what I always do.
First LV? Definitely go for Speedy 30. It is less than the neverfull and you can wear it day/night... not too big and doesn't look informal when you dress it up.
