I would have to say it's one of the most used hard bodies I own I love em to particularly the shallow version, where i fish over shallow rock bars so successful I've nailed everything on em trevs,cod,jacks, flathead. It's funny but John how you mentioned the bib breaking on the XR10 deep, it happened to me not long back fishing it all morning had caught a couple flathead off it and I'd been nailed by a jack shortly after it was over so quick and I was left with only the Bib lol I've got the footage on my TH-cam channel.. The lure was pretty new as well hadn't Copt to much damage at all before breaking.. I still love em but :-D

These still kill it. That olive colour is unreal on the right day for flatties on sand banks. Any of the olive Rapala lures slay flatties.

Had this exact problem today! Hooked up to something big off the beach, probably a barra or trevally and after a short tug-o-war the bib just snapped clean off! Pretty annoyed considering they’re a ~$25 lure!

What do u mean by hold it steady. I already changed the hooks to try and balance it out it it still sit nose up.

I change over the hooks to be heavier and hold it steady ;)
