Valentine's day kayakers .

This years Valentine's Day turned out to be on our Monday kayak fishing adventures . This is still winter here in Scotland , gradually we are getting more sun light . Loch Lomond around Balmaha is fed by the river Endrick . We had a week of rain lately and the water turned chocolate . Fishing proved difficult from the kayak , Tam and Drew fished from the bank . Food on the island was the highlight of the day , with home made soup and ribeye steak au poivre ending with a sweet valentine's treat . We all had to cut our adventure short and spend time real time with our Valentine's . Check out Tam's pristine roach at the end , beautiful little bars of silver . A blank day for myself , I take that on the chin but we will be back . Stay tuned and thanks for watching . Nearly spring now ...
