You do amazing tie dyes, they always turn out beautiful too. The fun thing with tie dye is even if you make a mistake it looks more like a happy accident cause most of the time it just blends in. I never tried to tie dye anything though I'd love to do some cute tie dye onesies for my daughter and new baby one day soon.

Thank you so much Patti C. It really is just lots of practice and with the shirt folded in half whatever you make is going to have a mirror image on the other side. So if I do 4 geodes I’ll get 8 in the shell. Hope this helps😊💜

Hi!! This is so great! Thank you! Do you mix your dies with anything? I ordered all the diss from Dharma but some of them don’t look as powdery as yours. Any tips? Thank you. Also I tried but it didn’t work out still looked cool though. I’m going to attempt again this weekend with new sinew.. :) thank you for any tips!
Thank you so much! So when I ice dye or hwi I mix soda ash right in with my dye powder. Other than that just make sure you check underneath and make sure your dye penetrated all the way through before rinsing. If not apply dye and ice to the other side and batch again. I hope this helps😊🌊🐢

I just ordered a bag and have heard mostly good reviews of the product. I was wondering what you think about using product. Thanks, I appreciate it.

It’s beautiful!! I have one question for you. You have to ice over the dye and you said leave it 24 hrs. But ice will be melted in summer before time is over. Do you keep replacing new ices?
No you don’t you let it melt and let it sit so that the dyes have time to react with the shirt. If you keep putting ice on it you would be very slowly rinsing the shirt and the dyes won’t be as bright. Thank you!! 😊💙🐢
Any tips or tricks for creating the designs on toddler size shirts? I've done a few but was hoping you had some tricks so it's not as frustrating pinching the tiny amount of fabric.
Unfortunately I don’t. The smaller the material the more difficult these designs are. Tweezers sometimes help with pleats and small rubber bands but that’s really about all I’ve found to help me with me with smaller projects. I hope this helps some😊💙

You would have to find a way to tie it really tight or you won’t get the white lines. That’s the nice thing about sinew because it locks in on itself😊💜

how do you stop the dyes from fading after rinsing? i recently ordered the synthrapol that's in your description and used it when i first washed the shirt and when i rinse out the dye. i also use the tulip brand dyes and i have their soda ash even though they say it's not necessary since there's soda ash in the dyes. after i use the dyes i put the shirts in a bag and leave it for about 24 hours until i'm ready to rinse. i usually hang out my shirts to dry since the dryer have faded other shirts. i also use the shower to rinse instead of the sink or washing machine. i've tried everything possible to not have the shirt fade after rinsing and it still happens. am i doing something wrong or am i not using the right products? do you have any advice?
You’re are doing everything right but tulip brand dyes don’t stay bright. If you want bright colors you’ll want to find fiber reactive dyes. A couple brands would be Dharma Trading Company, Grateful Dyes, ProChem and Dye, or you can even get the Jaquard brand on Amazon ☺️
