Yupp, but I can live with that 😀 I have read in an article in one of the few gaming magazines available here in the 80's (I believe it was the Polish one called "Bajtek"), that the final ranking depends on a few factors (in a manner similar to the OG Star Raiders); and if I recall correctly, it read that the CPU weighs in the amount of times you dock to the space station and the number of cities that survive the onslaught by the end of the game. I'd say there may be more to that algorithm (e.g. how many flagships are destroyed by the player), but frankly, I do not know. However, as a fun fact - I played and finished this game on all three difficulty levels - and to my surprise, the final promotion was the same every time.. So either I'm a Star Raiders II demigod, or suck at this game completely. So, well.. I made my pick 😀 😀 😀
