That meat pastrie is called Pastel de Chaves, the soup you had with the Francesinha is called Caldo Verde, the fish cakes are called Pasteis de Bacalhau. Btw it is usual to always have olive oil and vinegar at the table if there isn't any, you can ask them to bring some. The next thing you ate, the one red inside, was not cooked properly, looked like a raw meatball honestly. The fruit cake is called Bolo Rei (King Cake) and it is commonly found around Xmas time.
Ну какое Аппетитное видео получилось!!! Спасибо за изыски Португалии, за весёлое настроение и хорошее чувство юмора. Продолжайте в том же духе!!! 😂🥰😘☺😇🐠🐙🦀🍰🧁
We totally agree. We love seafood, pastries and fruit. Why doesn't anyone say that the tastiest papaya and mango are in Portugal? 100 times sweeter and juicier than in Thailand, Indonesia or the Dominican Republic 🤩😋
You must try Chanfana (Coimbra Region), Leitao à Bairrada (little pig roasted in a way.. that its wonderfull and its the winner of the meat of the 7 wonders of portuguese gastronomy) but.. in Bairrada..., Cabrito assado (little goat roasted), alentejo food... Setubal fried Cuttlefish... in the northeast Posta à mirandesa... etc... you will be amazed and.. off course... seafood in algarve and in the all coast of portugal.. and codfish in all territory (1000 ways of cooking salted codfish ). That its not squid.. its octupus... and you do it maybe the best way in the world
You could have asked for more olive oil to accompany the octopus, every restaurant has small bottles to put on the table if requested, then you can had as much as you want...
12:45 - Where the hell did you ordered that Codfish from? I couldn't even tell you what that dish was because I've never seen anything like it. And I'm portuguese! 12:55 - I don't know what that is but it's definitely not a cutlet. It looks like a badly cooked meatball. 13:40 - "The BEST Portuguese Dishes"... Kebab is not a portuguese dish.
haha, we also think that this restaurant had some strange food, I don't want to say the name because we don't recommend this restaurant. As for the kebab, yes it's not Portuguese cuisine, but it tasted very good, it had good Portuguese ingredients that's why we added it to the video. 😅🤌

Thank you very much for your detailed comment! Now we know more! 😊 Boas Festas! 🌟🎄
That soup is called Caldo Verde and it is my favorite soup. I believe it was created in the region of Minho which is further north than Porto.
Good and cool to know. Thanks a lot for the info! 🇵🇹🇵🇹
You must try other Portuguese food like Carne de Porco a Alentejana or Bacalhau a Brás its so delicious.

Glad you enjoyed it! 🤩
Portuguese cuisine was elected the 4 best in the world, pastries we have the first and second best in the world.

You must eat fish, 3 locality's, Matosinhos, Nazaré and Algarve.
In Sintra, you should have gone to a pastry called "Piriquita" and eat the famous traveseiro
Thank you for the recommendation, we will save this place for our next trip ☺️

Thanks a lot for your tip! We'll do that next time!
That soup... in my zone there is more carbage then potatoe... that caldo verde is very "weak"...
Exactly, we have to try again!
One year or two in Portugal you'll gain 100kg eating pasteries
Ahahah, In 2 weeks I think we ate about 50 patisseries. We don't regret anything 😋
@HandzelTravel you have come back, we have another 50 different pastries for you to try
Oh, great! You have a lot of really cool varieties!

Who doesn't like caldo verde, is not a good person!
We tried about 6 different soups and each one was called caldo verde. What should the original recipe consist of?
simple...shredded Galizian kale, potatoes, chouriço and olive oil
Wow, thanks a lot for your answet. We will try again next time!
Lisbon is quantity but Porto is quality! Do you agree? ❤
On Sunday there will be a video about Lisbon :) Come watch and rate the video yourself with us. 😊
Não há um único vídeo sobre o Porto onde alguém diga que Lisboa é melhor...Por mim, já fui feliz nas duas cidades.

That was not a good Caldo verde, must try again.
I think so too, but Filip liked it, maybe there are even better ones :)
