It really is. Moon cactus are a easy graft to start with, and cheep to buy. $6.95 on ebay. Get some dragon fruit for the root stock from ebay as well. 5 peices is all you need. Pot them and ypu will have more than youll ever need .
Hi Lucia, do you have a follow up video about your project? Love your enthusiasm :) Just thinking about filming myself makes me cringe, it takes some courage.
Hi Lucia! Since last one month I have a Calathea rufibarba. It has lost it's reddish variegation which it had on its stem. I tried to keep it in bright indirect light but later I found the leaf tips getting brown. I'm not sure if it's the sunlight or the kind of water I give it. I then moved it back to a north-west facing window. I live in Berlin and water it with normal tap water every 4-5 days depending on the finger-in-soil test... There are new leaves and it seems to grow... But I would really like the variegation to come back... Could you please suggest what I can do? Also could you make a video on which houseplants plants can tolerate hard water and which can't and how you treat your water? Thanks! :)
I assume your a philipina, and a maganda one at that. If you keep using dragon fruit as your root stock id get a better knife to do the cutting of the root stock. Also the dragon fruit is nice in that you can use tap to hold the moon cactus on it. Afew layers of paper towel under the tape then pull gently and tapr to the sides of the dragin fruit. Just a thought is all.
Would the top cactus on Danila survive on its own? I've never seen a moon cactus with a green top and I love yours! I thought about grafting a thimble cactus with the hylocereus cactus, and now I feel super encouraged by your video, thank you!
Hiiii! You are right ! This top may be different.. I don’t think it’d survive on its own, but I will try with one of the babies and let you know 💜 Wow the combination of cactus you are thinking will look beautiful! Let me know how it goes, I’d love to see how it comes out 😍🌵
Yay! I've been so excited for this video. Love your content Lucia

This was so cool and nerve wracking. I was worried you were going to cut ✂️ your finger. 😁😁
Lol! At one point I thought about it and decided to go another way 😅😅😅 ! Always happy to see you here in the comments 💕🌿

When do you take the string off? Grafting 4 moon cactus 😭
Hi! I took it off about a month after :) You just want to make sure that the upper part is attached to the bottom and it should be okay :)
