I did something similar several years ago to my old ‘99 911. The stock cans weighed a ton and were almost silent, so I just put on little straights pipes. Loud!! I only had them on for a week. Race car loud lol.

I’ve just removed the exhaust flap servo and plugged in a Servo Buddy. Keeping the original pipe sounds awesome! The deep thunder the 2021 R nine T deserves!! And if you don’t like it, the mod is completely reversible👍🏻
Oh my...... That's so loud. I kinda like it but yeah, would still take a bit to get used too. I love that 9RT
It's the wrong loud mate, like a blowing exhaust not sexy at all.
@@KaiserWheelHelm Looking forward in seeing what you do find for it, that bike can have such a sweet note with the right bit of kit!
This biggest issue is the exhaust valve. I have the same setup and it sounds horrendous with the valve plugged in. Unplug it and its 10x better and deeper sounding.
It's obnoxious but I love it.

Yeah always best to make your own mind up.. I'm still running the standard one, waiting for an Akrapovic to pop up at sensible money
@@KaiserWheelHelm you’re right! I hate it! I had to use ear plugs because it was giving me a headache and I’m wearing a Schubert C3 lite! It looks great but it’s not for me.

Sounds ok but the boxer engine is difficult to get a decent sound from. If looks is what you want maybe think about buying a silencer and get a link pipe made. There's a guy in Marlborough that could probably make a custom pipe for you 👍
Trust me it sounds worse than my little mic could portray.. blowing exhaust at best. Only sounds good when you blip the throttle, riding it, it just drones.
It grew on me but I’m puzzled why anyone would think that such an open pipe would sound any different to what it does ? I like the SC Project exhaust as featured on Filipino Rider or if you have money to burn the full BOS system as featured on Cali Moto TV (both bikes are Racers) 🇬🇧🏍
I'm probably going to go SC projects now.. I hoped this was going to be better, if you don't try you don't know 🤷🏻♂️
