Great as always Kirk. I can get lost in a Lightnin' Hopkins boogie for hours!
My Grampa used to play blues like that reluctantly just to make me be impressed. I always thought the world of him. Thanks for bringing back that memory. You have a great talent. I’m working on mine. Love it

Kirk Fletcher thank you for keeping the Blues alive and talking about some of Lightnin Hopkins' techniques. I was born in Houston Texas in 1951. Lightnin Hopkins and Bobby "Blue" Bland were part of my upbringing.

Howard Carroll had that same Gibson special it was red!!
Kind of a classic song, Otis Redding, Slim Harpo, Thunderbirds, etc.
When will you be plunkin' again in Los Angeles?
❤️🎸
Awesome! Is this standard tuning?
Kirk
Great sound and feel, as always, Kirk! I'm curious: Do you always use just your right thumb and index finger, or is that particular to the Lightnin' Hopkins style?
"..and I don't know where it's itchin"
Nice junior , what year is she Kirk ?
Love the sound in style of playing but I wish it was more beginner friendly because I have no idea what you’re doing. Lol.
If only I could see what your doing. like turn to your left 30 degrees please haha
Can you do “bring me my shotgun”?
Sorry Kirk!
