I have my American Open Series competition in Columbus March 2nd, 102KG session. Only group C, but trying to get back to big lifts after breaking my scapula and ribs 2-7 top rear just left of my spine in Fall 2021.
      Wish me well!
Looking for 230-250 total. Great lifts 89 weight class! Impressive is an understatement!

Just a note, currently Karlos Nasar has put down a 370 entry for the World Cup this April (this is only his preliminary entry so it may change). This most likely means his coaches will probably want Karlos to go lighter and save up his energy for the Olympics.
Nino's clean looked pretty easy IMO, I hope he tries 222 at some point in the future. Nino has put a 390 total at the World Cup (again this is only his preliminary entry so it may change). If he could make a 170 snatch and finally jerk 222 at the World Cup he would have a 392 total. I really want to see Nino back in shape.

    • @johndoherty-hh2ck

@@johndoherty-hh2ck You're right he did snatch 175 when he set the world record in the clean and jerk at Europeans in 2022. If he could put his best snatch and make a 222 kilo clean and jerk he would break the world record with a 397 total.
Overall he seems like he is slowly getting into better shape. I hope he returns to his Euro 22's level of shape.
