If you found all 90 Lucky Emblems and you have not received the Proof of Promises, Just save your game and go to the Title Screen. Then go back to your saved game file and you should automatically receive the Proof of Promises

Ok every one something that no one said in any videos that i'm going to post here. You have to be beat ALL Original stories. Which means to get the oathkeeper not only do you have to get all 90 Emblems you also have to beat the game too. Its BS doing all that work just to get it and just to find out you have to do more work just to have it. So sorry to anyone that was hoping to use the Oathkeeper for the finall missions but its not going to happen unless you play thought the full game again with the Oathkeeper after you do a NG+
So then I beat the game go back and get all the lucky emblems then can I do new game plus for critical mode with Oathkeeper on? Since I have to play through that anyways for Oblivion
@@thenoob4242 No you have to have them before you beat the game, I did that the first time and it didnt count. after you beat the game and start a new game plus you will get it right off the bad. even if you start Remind you will still get it.
So just confirming it you can get abilities and the new key blades on Xbox I just loaded up my critical mode(which I already beat) and got the oblivion

Juan Rivera Hmm.. make sure that you downloaded the newest update for KH3. Maybe it didn’t notify you that it gave you the proof of promises for some odd reason and also make sure that you have beaten the game as well

Got both and was very confused what the second one meant and which one it gave me lol. A bit miffed the "greatest challenge" was just beating the game with less health. All of the gummi ship stuff and sledding mini game were substantially harder to force myself to get through.
well... if you have the premium menu. you can basically cheat your way to oblivion. its still a hassle but critical becomes about as hard as proud is on previous games.

The oblivion won't unlock on my Proud save file, because it was made before I finished the Critical difficulty. Kinda lame, I'd have to create a completely new proud save file to get the oblivion on a prpud save, all because of some overlooked problem.

Question!: I have all my game time spent on a game save file with proud difficult mode. In order to obtain the oblivion key blade and I’m going to have to be required to start a new save file on critical, beat the entire campaign to obtain the oblivion AS WELL as having to find all 90 lucky emblems again in order to have both oath keeper and oblivion on the same save file. Or is there some type of way that once you unlock it by beating critical it will then be unlocked for all other saved files I have as I really really don’t want to find all lucky emblems again on crit as I’ve already done it on my other proud difficulty save file as I found it extremely tedious and boring. Thank you very much for who ever can clear this question up for me.
JAE FIZZ proof of promises should carry over when you start your new game plus with your proud save file. I’d still recommend taking pictures of the lucky emblems though as you go to each world as they give you some good armors and accessories

Does anybody have any answer to the question to the people that have not yet completed critical mode like myself because quite frankly we don't think we're good enough to do it or we don't really want to play the whole game again just to get the oblivion key blade.. If we go back and do it and unlock the oblivion keyblade I already have the oath keeper Will the oblivion keyblade also be unlocked in our proud mode normal mode or easy mode save file or essentially are we going to have to replay literally the entire game and get every piece of gear minus our keyblades all over again just to have the oath keeper and the oblivion on one save file?I don't know if anyone has the answer to this question yet but I didn't want to risk over writing my proud mode saved file that already has the oathkeeper as I have all the emblems in the risk that the oblivion would not carry over to that file upon my completing the game on a separate critical mode playthrough in a separate file.until this is figured out I don't feel comfortable playing critical mode quite frankly but I'm kind of doing it just to get started it's definitely a challenge and I'm definitely not enjoying it there's a difference between something being hard and something being ridiculous
So to answer your question. Yes. You have to beat critical to get Oblivion and no it will not be unlocked for your other saves. If you want it for other difficulties you will have to bring it over with new game plus once you unlocked it. I hope this helped.

@Hayden Henckel I've been modding consoles and other stuff for 11 years and it's not as simple as that lol sometimes it is but the console itself has to be on the right firmware and sometimes if it's not you have to downgrade and if downgrading isn't possible then you're fucked lol and especially for the PS4 their aren't very many jailbreaks out yet for it and as of right now there is no way to downgrade it so you better hope your PS4 is on the one or two firmwares that have a stable jailbreak for the PS4 lol

If you want to get Oblivion: So I have found that if you have Oathkeeper and then play through the Re Mind DLC, Save your game then click 'New Game' using your DLC save file to replay the game on Critical, the game opens up EZ and Pro Codes after you initial choices. The EZ Codes make for a better playthrough on Critical. But there are some tiny details to be aware of. the Deadly Blow Code will not affect certain enemies and bosses. The Code that ups your Strength and Magic by 3x does so also for enemies. The Gummi Ship Code overrides your previous gummi ship data to 99 but you lose your old data. Currently I'm in Toy Box and have found no enemy or boss has been immune to Deadly Blow. Also please note the YOU DO GET OBLIVION at the end of an EZ Code Critical Playthrough!!!!

Kinda a late response, but if it’s like other Kingdom Hearts games, the difficulty is set once you start. So if you want to change the difficulty, you’re gonna have to start over.

Why can’t they just give it to us for free with the update. We have to go and beat critical mode just to obtain the other keyblade? I just don’t have the time for that. That’s really shitty coming from Square. Probably won’t even bother with the DLC at this point.

I have both proofs and started the Limit Cut episode, unlocking Oathkeeper. For some reason though, the file won't recognise my proof of Times Past and so I can't get Oblivion in the Limit Cut. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

@@HeartlessNobody413 to answer your questions. yes. you can use EZ mode to get the keyblades. you'll still die a lot. but it'll be SO much easier. I recommend auto-block stay on at all times. and the health regen is a life saver.

If you want to make it easier, you can use EZ codes in the premium menu. I beat the game in about 9-10 hours with these, and only died a few times

Use cheat menu to one shot everything, beat entire campaign in about 2 hours if you skip scenes and have good load times.

Turner B you don’t get it until the game is cleared and last boss is dead, the game file has to be a cleared file save to obtain it.

Someone explained to me why:
You have to do a ng+ proud save in order to get it on a proud save. That's stupid.
I think it’s really lame how in order to get oblivion which was easily obtainable in Kh and Kh2 you have to beat the game on critical.

There’s something called new game plus or smth. Try that?

Yeah, the grind factor has been increased exponentially in KH3.
So to answer your question. Yes. You have to beat critical to get Oblivion and no it will not be unlocked for your other saves. If you want it for other difficulties you will have to bring it over with new game plus once you unlocked it. I hope this helped.

@Hayden Henckel I've been modding consoles and other stuff for 11 years and it's not as simple as that lol sometimes it is but the console itself has to be on the right firmware and sometimes if it's not you have to downgrade and if downgrading isn't possible then you're fucked lol and especially for the PS4 their aren't very many jailbreaks out yet for it and as of right now there is no way to downgrade it so you better hope your PS4 is on the one or two firmwares that have a stable jailbreak for the PS4 lol

Actually that's not quite right if I wrote it wrong I apologize but the question intended was that in order to get oblivion in proud mode and under I have to pass critical mode and pass the keyblades from critical so I can use them in proud or whatever level :)

So I have found that if you have Oathkeeper and then play through the Re Mind DLC, Save your game then click 'New Game' using your DLC save file to replay the game on Critical, the game opens up EZ and Pro Codes after you initial choices.
The EZ Codes make for a better playthrough on Critical. But there are some tiny details to be aware of. the Deadly Blow Code will not affect certain enemies and bosses. The Code that ups your Strength and Magic by 3x does so also for enemies. The Gummi Ship Code overrides your previous gummi ship data to 99 but you lose your old data.
Currently I'm in Toy Box and have found no enemy or boss has been immune to Deadly Blow. Also please note the YOU DO GET OBLIVION at the end of an EZ Code Critical Playthrough!!!!

My guess is playing EZ Codes Critical was Square Enix's way of letting everyone get Oblivion and Oathkeeper to play with for those who are afraid to play a straight critical mode playthrough.

Kinda a late response, but if it’s like other Kingdom Hearts games, the difficulty is set once you start. So if you want to change the difficulty, you’re gonna have to start over.

Why can’t they just give it to us for free with the update. We have to go and beat critical mode just to obtain the other keyblade? I just don’t have the time for that. That’s really shitty coming from Square. Probably won’t even bother with the DLC at this point.
Exactly. The dual wielding wouldve made me come back but im not wasting hours trying to beat a game on critical. But! All you need is a few hours and TH-cam walkthrough to get the oathkeeper tho. Just gotta power through it.

I have both proofs and started the Limit Cut episode, unlocking Oathkeeper. For some reason though, the file won't recognise my proof of Times Past and so I can't get Oblivion in the Limit Cut. Does anyone know a way to fix this?
Idk tbh. From my understanding you were suppose lose them a non dlc save file first then use that to play remind then limit cut.

@@HeartlessNobody413 to answer your questions. yes. you can use EZ mode to get the keyblades. you'll still die a lot. but it'll be SO much easier. I recommend auto-block stay on at all times. and the health regen is a life saver.
