I love the sound of the hermit thrush! I first heard them as a child walking to school in the early morning. I never forgot it, but it was probably 50 years later that I found out what it was, and many years later that I actually saw one! Thank you.
I've heard these birds for years while fishing and camping and didn't know what they were. I looked for them in the woods but couldn't see anything when they seemed to be all around. One of the coolest sounding birds and now I finally know what they are.
You captured a wide range of variations in hermit thrush songs, which vary from season to season and even among individual birds. The idea of adding a sound track of a babbling brook was nice, but it overpowers and almost drowns the singing. Maybe you would consider making another version with the water sounds much quieter, more like a background setting, so the hermit thrush songs can take center stage. Thank you for your efforts!
The Hermit Thrush is by far my favorite bird songster. Divine.

An indescribable song, very mystical and peaceful. Reminds me of being in the forests of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Vermont.

Its my fave here in Northern WI💕💕💕💕💕
Very beautiful. Has that echo.
Sure enjoyed this. I did my tai chi short form to it. Relaxing. Heavenly.
State bird of Vermont despite its being transient.
The song sounds like the shy wood thrush which is my favorite woodlands bird.
