Idk the details but basically Asians are told to grow up well, study well at a good uni, find a good company to work at, marry well, have kids, spend your day working, your evening preparing for work tomorrow, your night resting, and your weekend for your family/friends. Generally, Asians live up to this 'advice of life' well. Like, there is a fixed definiton of live well, die well, and Asians are OK with it. But is that all enough to be happy/satisfied? In the west, you've got self-actualization, etc etc. Studying in a higher edu institution is an option. Working in a company is such one tiny option (out of so various many). Marrying is an option. Of course a gap is something we can gradually close but it won't happen overnight. There is a poet I used to admire, Atticus, in one interview he mentioned how he was sad/upset because people were starting to write poems for the sake of profit/fame because the (online)poetry industry was growing & looking promising. He complained about the low quality writing. On the one hand, he is a professional so I understand he said it based on his skills, experience, professionalism AND genuine love towards poetry. Some times it's easy to tell, even for amateurs, when a singing voice is bad, a song is lacking, an acting skill is non-existent. So such lacks must be easy to get spotted by professionals. There will be people whose JOB is to say the HARSH things in a STRICT way, in order to produce quality works. On the other hand, I was heartbroken when I read the interview because I liked writing poetry, too (still do). Tho I dont make a business out of it, I know my writing sucks and I felt I was among those who had been disappointing poem writers. - Nevertheless, just because his skills are Ferrari-level, does it mean it's ok to discourage people whose skills are Mitsubishi Mirage-level? To tell them to stop writing? (Idk about cars, but I googled and found that Ferrari can be the best car and Mirage has got negative reviews😅🙏🙏) What I'm trying to say is, without undermining the importance of EDUCATION (so people dont stay ignorance), I do believe OFTEN TIMES everyone is judged TOO HARSHLY by everyone else. In this case, AK is judged harshly. People can say I'm biased because I like AK's type of music. Well, they can think whatever they want to think. I know I do my best to be objective.
Well everybody make mistakes but not everyone apologize for their mistake, AK deserve to be educated for all his mistakes and I know he is the sweetest when he see yu yang perform. People do change and learned from their mistakes sometimes. I believe there must be a reason to why he does those mistakes +My guy debuted +Ak hella talented this man can sing, rap and make his own music +just keep hating on him or whatever its not like he will *UNDEBUT* kbye
I love his smile and everytime he watch other trainees you'll know he adores them. He always looks like a proud dad when the other trainees show their talents
his rapping is really good but i got goosebumps when he started to sing, was really good! also very good that he apologized like this, its difficult as it takes a lot of courage to do so!
Y'all I'm going to be honest I don't like him at first since my friend is a fan of the group that he dissed and she really hate him and told me his issue and I see most of twitter stans hate him. But when I fully watched all the episodes of Chuang, I didn't know that he apologized already until I saw this part. Let's just say not all, will accept his apology but do you really have to stay with hatred ?? He has a lot of friends inside the camp and that really shows that he changed. People change. Give him a chance. He's talented and cute too. I really regret saying that he didn't deserved to be forgiven bcs of what he did when I didn't know the truth :(( pls vote for AK!
soooo much respect for him! for everyone who still hates him because of his irresponsible actions when he was younger, i'm not excusing this at all, but he's matured and become a better person since then. i think it's also really evident that he's extremely talented so let's not hate on him and appreciate who he is now!!
also the way he apologized is very honest, smart and courageous ! he made his apology on such a big stage, in front of those he once dissed while trying to become an idol. he made a diss track against idols when he was young and now he made another track to say sorry. if people aren't still forgiving him, i bet they never made a mistake and never had the need and the courage (and the skills) to apologize in front of millions but also directly to those he once direspected
Back than he were young and naive. Since he seems to be sincere when he apologizing, i forgive him. Beside he is cute and can write his own song. Definitely want him to make it to top 11.
@@rebeccaloo06 but I think u should know that he diss them because fans of npc diss one the rapper name 法老 at first and caused his song couldn't being uploaded in any platform. Imagine how did u feel when ur idol song couldn't even release because of the other critical comments
I respect people who admit their own mistakes and apologize openly without asking for forgiveness. We all learn from our past mistakes and there is no single human being on this earth who is perfect. I understand if you don't accept his apology but please stop making up false accusations and spread fake rumours just because you dislike him. If you really hate him, then don't look at his news or listen to his songs. Stop being a malicious keyboard warriors and focus on improving yourself as an individual in real life. Peace & love!
Idc what ppl say cus AK deserves the spot on the top 11. He apologized for his actions in such a sincere way and he worked so hard these past few months to improve himself. AK JIAYOU! DONT LISTEN TO THE HATERS AND DONT LET THEM DRAG YOU DOWN!
Nothing to do with admitting his mistakes, but this performance was lit. I love his flow and the sudden burst made me excited.Definitely a very talented rapper and the lyrics are 🔥🔥.
I honestly think he has become a much better and mature person. Why else would he participate to be part of a program that is aiming to debut a boy group that he personally dissed few years back? In his lyrics, he stated he chose the biggest stage to come forward and admit his mistakes and take responsibility for his actions that hurt others. It would be contradicting if he decided to participate in this show and a huge hypocrite if he didn't do this to prove his thoughts and views has changed. This shouldn't be a reason to bury his talent after how big of a person he is to come forward and apologize. Freaken explosive and emotional rapper. He was a victim to his own hatred towards bullies and didn't know any better and became one himself. He's had time to reflect. It's probably why he's on that stage now to dedicate this apology nationwide. We are all guilty of writing and saying hate speech online but it never occurs to us how much it can hurt a person who reads them. Can you do what he did? Doubt it.
all I know is he dissed a boy group can I know what the name of this group ...... I'm clueless....... But if is very sensitive to say the name of a group .... Then I understand.......
@@unprettysquad5846 I don't know which boy group he dissed. From the way they describe it on the show, he dissed boy groups in general or at least the concept of boy groups and the way they function/work.
@@cii-d5j yeahh I already know it's 9 percent but I thought lil ghost is the one he really want to diss....... But I'm wrong? Btw did kun and the group respond about that?
Idc if you still hate AK or cannot accept his apology but the fact that he bravely admit his mistakes and tries to get better is way much more than the one who never admits their mistakes well leave out the apology tho
Sooo cute, this just made him more charming. Everyone makes mistakes and certainly have written mean comments online at least once. He regrets it, apologized and it's time to move on! Jiayou ❤❤❤
Everyone makes mistakes. He was young, and it happens. Not everyone has the balls to stand up on stage - in front of the whole world, recorded for posterity, no less - and apologise, even dissing himself in the process. That aside, this guy can rap AND sing! He'll prob have haters haunting him for his whole career, but that's also a testament to his ability. After all, if he were a nobody, who would waste time hating on him?
I know about his mistake, know it was too severe. But he has the courage to say it here. It's very credible. And he's just 21 on all of that. I respect him for that. And I hope he's really meant this apology and changed to be a better person.
This rap legitimately almost made me cry... especially when you understand the lyrics and you can just feel the regret and sorrow and apology for what he did in the past 😭😭😭 he is definitely one of my pick for this season with the Japanese trainees
i like his rap performance and i think he deserves better, its not easy to smile in front of everyone like this, he is so strong that's why i wanna cheer him up and vote for him to debut
I don't know the details of his mistake... aside from what's mentioned in the show, but... people should take it in mind that apologizing on a big stage like on a show like this is a double-edged sword. If the viewer(me included) sees and feels his sincerity and are open to forgiving others for their mistakes because of being young and immature then... that's what you will see, but if the viewer does not think they are sincere and is just using it to gain votes (or whatever negative thoughts that come to mind) then that is how the viewer sees it. Respect to him for taking the courage to apologize and if he knew what it meant to apologize that there will be those that believe it and those that won't. He has already done what he has set out to do and that's to apologize. Good for him and may he continue to become a better version of himself.
The special thing about him is that he actually really regrets his mistake. Some people don’t even feel sorry for what they did but he does. The fact that he had the courage to come out here even tho he knows about everyone knowing about his rumors. He came out really great and admitted his mistake. A lot of people still hate him after this but it’s all on them. He s one of the special contestants because he’s willing to come out and admit to his mistake so he can start over. Stan this kid!
I can actually hear every word, i'm surprised. It's what I like best in a rapper, to be able to understand what they say, because lyrics is important, their message is what they are trying to convey afterall
The phrase is shocking I was bullied at school and i move this hate through internet Everyone who diss him , just watch the surface of the icerberg , he made a mistake but you have to ssee all . He is really supporting and empathy please vote for him 🤩🤩
There was no denying that what he had done in the past caused hurt to other people. However, he brings his apology to a big stage so that everyone can see it, can see he now can bear the responsibility for what he did. What a man! I like him!
my fav performance of ep1 🥰 very moving story and he is brave enough to face his past mistakes. there's soul and personality to AK, wish to see more from him!
For people who are new to this show and watching it late. This performance represents him apologizing for a mistake he did in the past. So he came to the show with controversy and that was when he made a diss rap to diss idols such as nine percent which is a disbanded Chinese group. So when he dissed them , he became trending as the group was realy popular before they disbanded. So he is performing this apology to let everyone know that he really regrets what he did and he wants to move on from everything that happened.
When HanJiang kept on observing AK's action in his position 😂😂😂. I laughed at his expression. That line he said that AK is way different as to what people said on weibo.
It makes me laugh that this moment is used by the antis to spread their hatred of ak, saying that hanjiang hates him but they seem not to know that they are good friends hahaha.
kinda sad when i see some ppl (or many) in twt still can't accept his apology, but i respect whatever they said but still, i respect AK more, i'll always support him, not everyone can apologize from their mistake. Everyone can change , we can give him a chance, jiayou AK!
we are all humans, he is human and like every human on this Earth, he has done mistakes. he apologized for his past behavior and people continue to hate on him. let me just tell you, YOU also have a past and YOU also did mistakes, it's normal and that's the way we can grow for the best. he accepts his mistakes and try to show to the world that he is sorry and asking for everybody's forgiveness. if you still don't trust him, it's on you, but please stop sending him hate like that. he is human, not a machine. I hope people can realize that doing mistakes touch everyone, but there's not everyone who still received hate for something already away. before criticizing someone else's past behavior, you should first take a look at your own mistakes and be responsible for that like he did. *don't say something you can't even do yourself*
In this song, you will know AK sing with the voice from the bottom of his heart. I like AK❤ who can able to admit and apologize for his false even he makes mistakes because of immature . He deserves to debut.Let debut my baby. Fighting my baby❤
"Many people cannot accept your Letter of Apology. How do you respond to this?"
AK: "I think it's normal there are people who cannot accept my apology. If I were so easily forgiven, the price of making mistakes would be too low. All I can do is to keep going and show that I'm doing my best with my deeds. The Letter of Apology is only a beginning".
We may say people will never change. "If he was a jerk back then, he must be a jerk now too". But are we being honest when we say that? Do we really believe people never change? Ultimately, people do change. For the better or the worse.
Idk AK personally so whether he truly changes for the better, I will never truly know. But I personally feel the boy's sincerity and I hope the people who have been hurt can eventually forgive him. And I hope he forgives himself, too. His apology was courageous. He IS courageous.
👍👍👍

(Idk about cars, but I googled and found that Ferrari can be the best car and Mirage has got negative reviews😅🙏🙏)
What I'm trying to say is, without undermining the importance of EDUCATION (so people dont stay ignorance), I do believe
OFTEN TIMES
everyone is judged
TOO HARSHLY
by everyone else.
In this case, AK is judged harshly.
People can say I'm biased because I like AK's type of music. Well, they can think whatever they want to think. I know I do my best to be objective.

Doubt it.

Way too good. Responsible for his behaviour. Even gave his buddy a chance to perform. Perfect example.
Sooo cute, this just made him more charming. Everyone makes mistakes and certainly have written mean comments online at least once. He regrets it, apologized and it's time to move on!
Jiayou ❤❤❤
他应该出道偶像。因为他的rap最棒了
Everyone makes mistakes. He was young, and it happens. Not everyone has the balls to stand up on stage - in front of the whole world, recorded for posterity, no less - and apologise, even dissing himself in the process. That aside, this guy can rap AND sing! He'll prob have haters haunting him for his whole career, but that's also a testament to his ability. After all, if he were a nobody, who would waste time hating on him?
你真的很有勇氣,雖然不知道你們經歷了什麼,也沒有資格說人們應該原諒你,但AK你做的真棒
Stan Ak Liu Zhang! Someone who knows how to own up to his past mistakes and learn from it.
Well, because of AK, I fell in love with rap. I stan you, dude. I felt your music too.

I haven't paid any attention to him since I focus only on my picks during the show but now I watch his video he's the best rapper in Chuang💯💯
My favorite performance from the 1st episode
Diss

For people who are new to this show and watching it late. This performance represents him apologizing for a mistake he did in the past. So he came to the show with controversy and that was when he made a diss rap to diss idols such as nine percent which is a disbanded Chinese group. So he is performing this apology to let everyone know that he really regrets what he did and he wants to move on from everything that happened.
