Good Enough To Suc-CEED? Kia CEED 2018 First Drive

The all-new Kia CEED is here, and it features new looks, new engines and new tech. Oh, it's also dropped the silly apostrophe as well. On the face of it, the new CEED looks impressive, but is it good enough to suc-CEED?
The model tested here is the First Edition, which starts from £25,750, offering pretty much every feature imaginable and the kitchen sink. It's fitted with a new 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol, which is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

Hi lizard, the new Kia Ceed 3 spec comes with electronic lumbar support, a pad that moves up and down the back of the chair to match the arch of your back. It’s done me well with my back problem.

Looks great! You can tell those German designers are doing a good job. However given Kia/Hyundai depreciation rates I'd probably only consider one over a year old

@@bumpkini30 LKAS and LFA are two different things. LKAS mildly keeps you in your lane ( it does a pretty good job for that kind of system but tends to keep leaning on one side of the corner ) and LFA keeps you in your lane on center, up to 130 kph. It also has an overtake option ( you turn your blinkers on and the car will overtake when it is safe to do so ) All Ceeds have LKAS only top model have LFA.
