ABOUT STEVENAGE FOOTBALL CLUB Founded in 1976 as Stevenage Borough Football Club, we dropped the 'Borough' from our name in 2010 when we won promotion to the English Football League for the first time in our history, although it's stuck as our nickname! We currently play in Sky Bet League Two, the fourth tier of English football. Our home games are played at The Lamex Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,800 supporters. Over the years, we have achieved a lot in our relatively short history: including 2 FA Trophies, 2 Conference National titles and winning the League Two play-offs in 2011. (We also knocked Premier League Newcastle United out of the FA Cup!).

@@MATNJAN1 no class 3 shots on goal and dubious penalty from a ref who has given 105 yellows 5 reds in 23 games . Let’s be honest the refs in our league are total rubbish , there are some who just like to be billy big boys and it’s them with that mentality who ruin the games theses refs are only level 3 and 4 s And if you take the entry level as 9 and top 1 they have not got very far
Yes, the refereeing standard is pretty poor as a whole in league two, agree.
