I have struggled with my catholic faith ever since he became pope. I found clarity when you said fake charity. Sometimes i see he does good things and i feel confused. Part of that is also because many people, including good priests, say he is the pope. So, I guess people don’t believe that true prophecy is meant as a warning of potential things that can happen if people do not repent or offer up sacrifices. The true role of a prophet is to warn people so that, by the grace of Almighty God and his Holy will, that they don’t happen. It’s like people praying to win the lottery. Are people that shallow that they turn their back on God when they don’t win? It only means that God has something better planned for them. The prophet is the one that has the vision from Almighty God. But just like Daniel, the Prophet, he did not understand the prophecy that was revealed to him. That is why there is a co-prophet, to interpret the prophecy. Even Jesus does not know the day or hour of his second coming. Only the Father knows. Jesus chooses not to know. When a prophecy does not come true, it is a time of rejoice because that means that God’s mercy, will, and compassion prevailed. However, all good things must come to an end, and Jesus told us that certain things must come to pass before the end. What matters most is where we go when we leave this earth. Did Nostradamus get all of his predictions correct? Or did people pray that some of the things that he wrote about not happen, and Our Lord spared the people. Jesus has a history that is well established. Every time Jerusalem turned their back on him, they were invaded. That’s how it works.

I found clarity when you said fake charity. Sometimes i see he does good things and i feel confused. Part of that is also because many people, including good priests, say he is the pope. Others say he is not. I feel gas lit. So now i need to do something about this gaslighting..especially i need to be with catholics who have a strong faith.

I haven’t watched the video yet , but having seen the headline I thoroughly agree and have always ( since he supposedly became Pope ) felt very bad about him and as each year has gone by I have been more convinced that he is not The Pope . I will watch the video a bit later .

So, I guess people don’t believe that true prophecy is meant as a warning of potential things that can happen if people do not repent or offer up sacrifices.
The true role of a prophet is to warn people so that, by the grace of Almighty God and his Holy will, that they don’t happen.
It’s like people praying to win the lottery. Are people that shallow that they turn their back on God when they don’t win? It only means that God has something better planned for them.
The prophet is the one that has the vision from Almighty God. But just like Daniel, the Prophet, he did not understand the prophecy that was revealed to him. That is why there is a co-prophet, to interpret the prophecy.
Even Jesus does not know the day or hour of his second coming. Only the Father knows. Jesus chooses not to know.
When a prophecy does not come true, it is a time of rejoice because that means that God’s mercy, will, and compassion prevailed.
However, all good things must come to an end, and Jesus told us that certain things must come to pass before the end.
What matters most is where we go when we leave this earth.
