'22 Flower mart crit Masters 3/4

This was the second running of the Flower Mart crit because the pandemic saw the race on hiatus for '20 & '21. In 2019 I secured 3rd place in the rain in the Cat 4/5 race, so I knew what I had to do to get on the podium...unfortunately I did not have the lungs to sustain the move that I initiated and got dropped by the leaders(kudos to those guys because they posted the top lap times of the day according to Strava!). I got caught by a group of 4 chasers and sat on them until the last lap and I secured 4th place with some smart moves on my part(which I have never been able to say before, lol)!

It is tough, but damn it’s fun! I realized real quick that my lungs were not quite ready for that effort😂
