      Big Mike some of the East coast NYC crips got put on by Cali niggas that moved to New York. So I consider them more official than that 9trey fougazy blood shit. Anything under that fake ass East coast UBN bullshit is false flagging. There's no way around that... Except Double ii Bloods from East Orange New Jersey. They got the green light and put on by real Inglewood Queen Street Bloods. Everything else is straight fuck boys trying to get attention.

    • @bigmike5638
      @bigmike5638 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    • @i-95southfloridaboy55
      @i-95southfloridaboy55 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rephayah Cairo Yahudah Yisrael it's fake because it was created out of fraudulence. There's no 9trey on the West Coast. Wasn't no green light or any knowledge of its creation. No real Miller Bloods co sign or vouch for those 9trey niggas. So therefore it's fake false flagging. No way you can get around it no matter how you slice it.
      Yeah there's plenty niggas that died for that fake ass cause. But that doesn't mean it's real for even a millisecond. Those niggas died in vain far as I'm concerned. Because they was tricked into believing OG Mack was official and started a real movement.

    Any influential culture will have a worldwide impact from hip hop, gangbanging, martial arts, trapping, fashion, food. What's so hard to comprehend?

    • @billyjacc
      @billyjacc 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      What's hard is a place, that called everyone else biters, suckas, frauds, etc,; for doing anything that resembled what they were doing..." Or" did their own version of it... They got a lot of nerve to do the same and think it's supposed to go unquestioned, or un-criticized. . ESPECIALLY. In the 80's when that infamous RUN DMC, LL Concert at the LB Convention Center was marred by gang violence, and it made National news.. & of course New York was the main ones hollering " They still gang warring in Cali?!" ( They weren't the only ones.. saying it.. but surely the most vocal since it was " Their" artist who had all the hits, noteriety, recognition. ) For the next few years, it was a lot of talk about "LA cats are slow, behind the times, that gang war shit's been played out. Them niggas is stupid.."
      Then they turn right around and do it. Not resurrecting the Black Spades, Savage Nomads, Jolly Stompers, etc; but picking up LA shit....& Been running with that for the last 25 years now. ( SMH)

    • @wstcst4l
      @wstcst4l 6 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      None taken. I appreciate your reply and this platform that even lets people know there are Santanas in NY. I understand it was an O.G. Santana that got it started out there but I just don't understand why guys would want to claim a hood that most have never even been to or will ever visit. I respect them for at least going to Compton but why not be original. Claim your own block, park, project etc. If you still want to pay homage or affiliation to Santana where the black flag or use the same hand sign but you use your own name. Be leaders and not followers. It's bad enough that black men in L.A. been killing each other for over 40 years to this gang banging shit but now you got dudes in NY and other cities killing each other over something that started before they were even born. So it's like certain hoods in NY may have never had beef with one another but because of L.A. gang culture if you Crip you can't like cats because they were red and vice versa. Just my opinion. Keep up good work.

    • @wstcst4l
      @wstcst4l 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      tureal jones It's not about getting mad because other cities claim your gang because some people embrace and are happy they have hoods in different cities. For me personally I think it's lame that people give other people so much power that they want emulate them and gang banging is not something you should want to emulate. If you gonna emulate something then emulate being people doing positive for the community. Not death and destruction. Plus it's not like NY is some little small town in Iowa. They have their own street culture and OGs. Now as far as Chicago gangs go. I have seen plenty of times where they have issues with BPS. Which started in Chicago but T. Rogers brought it to L.A. in the late 60's. They look at L.A. BPS like off brands or step a step child.

    Whether you respect it or not gangbanging is across the globe some way or shape. It was inevitable that it spreaded across the country no doubt. I'm from Colorado and you can't tell us that there are not reputable dudes from our State . It goes down in every time zone but everyone knows where the mecca is.

    I didn’t even know they had Santana’s in NY. Good to see they broke down the connection to Compton. As far as I’m concerned, that makes them legit enough. PLENTY of Bloods and Crips out of state who should answer the question of “who put y’all on from California”. This is a door that has never been opened, so I respect the lesson KM. Yeah, we hella spoiled, receiving all that untraveled road you deliver, but cats on here need to understand that the OOOG aspect can’t and won’t last forever. KM gotta test the waters, and evolve, as time comes. KM has already made history, regardless. Can’t nobody top that, and nobody who really know what’s up is ever gonna forget it. All respect is due dog.

      They are inauthentic. Yeah they got put on the set, but the politics are just......weird and that's why the interviewer was trying to see how the function out there. I don't mean they're weak, not street, but it's just not really how crips and damus operate.
      They push on anything redrag and they're set is located in different areas. That's not really how it works out. Crips and bloods can co exist as long as they're not enemies, it's about the sets.

    NY gang culture started in prison. Thats the major difference. LA gang culture was born in the streets and are actual "neighborhoods" locations. You gotta be from that particular neighborhood to be from that set. You got NY dudes from different parts of the city but claim the same hood/set. On top of that LA will never truly respect NY gang culture and thats the reason i never came home when it first popped off in NY in 93. Much respect to all the homies from NY thats cuz and blood, but my era in NY we was trend setters we didnt copy other dudes they copied us. Thats not to say its not real gangsta dudes bangin in NY...Dont sleep. Just a lot of young strong brothers needing something to be a part of and gangbangin gives them that structure. Especially in the prisons.

    @Kev I'm born and raised in NYC(Bronx).I'm still here. I'm a Brim. When it comes to crips in NYC you chose the wrong individuals to interview. Don't get me wrong. The idea to interview crips from NYC (and maybe bloods in the future) is great but I don't see crips in nyc having much history to speak on(except for maybe brooklyn) because from the mid 90s until about 2010 they have not stood up with their chest open for crip. There's probably more blood sets in NYC than bloods and crips set combined in L.A.. there was a time you couldn't even be crip and walk on the sidewalk. Homebody said tanas hit NYC in 96. That was around the height of the blood movement between NY blood set like ntg,gkb,1-8-trey,smm,valentine,59brim (before leaving the east coast ubn) and more.then years later a bunch of west coast sets and ny gangs like lost boys(QUEENS),LNW (HARLEM), Ruff ryders,etc came around or were already around...

      To keep it 100 a lot of New York gangs get at me saying the same thing about all the other gangs in New York.
      In the land no one see’s one New York Crip/Blood gang different from the others. So from a Los Angeles standpoint you either respect them all or you see them all as fraudulent, period. That’s pretty much the train of thought out here.
      To alleviate that problem we’ll stick to Los Angeles County and hope someone from NY takes the baton and starts interviewing the C’s B’s and P’s of New York so you guys can better portray who is who and what is what.

      @Mario the foundation of bloods forming in NYC started in the early 90s with homegrown NY blood sets I previously mentioned. Those blood sets were beefing with Latin kings and Netas. When Cali blood/piru sets started breeding in NY like mob piru,elm street, Rollin 20s nhb,bounty hunters,62hpb,ftb,,etc they were beefing with homegrown NY blood sets because many NY sets were not feeling Cali sets in NY. For years in NY homegrown NY blood sets believed any set that was Piru or a set that had "rollin" in their name was taking Ls left and right because SUPPOSEDLY Pirus were crip at one point and because ROLLIN was seen as just a crip thing. There were some niggaz screaming out WESTSIDE bounty hunter and another group of niggaz screaming out Eastside bounty hunter who were beefing after nino cappuccino from bounty hunter watts pulled up to NY. The Eastside and westside Rollin 20s nhbs were beefing and that was as recent as 2005-09. NY brims and stones were beefing too at one point. Just like people living outside of cali didn't know about half the wars and origins of blood and crips in cali many Cali niggaz don't know about NY wars. I pulled up to LA and sat with some VNGs and HPBs some years ago talking about NY wars and politics. They were lost. They didn't know about nybba, east coast ubn,nyb,ubl,etc. They didn't know S.I.,lacey, izz, etc who were ordering hits on niggaz.nothing I'm saying made up or fabricated. There's a lot of shit you don't know if you're not from here.

Sometime in the early to mid nineties, new yorkers went from trend-setters to being trend- followers, hence the l.a. gang phenomenon. If they're keeping that NY swag than why even represent an LA gang?. If you're trying to be apart of a L.A crip set. Chances are that you like the culture, style, music, cars, criminal state of mind and the lay out of the land. I agree they don't have to act like super crips. But at least do a term here, really absorb knowledge and find out who your rivals are. These dudes honestly sound like they're using the Santana name as an umbrella to come together and do music. These guys older homies let some OG Santana crips nephew start a branch in their part of town. The dude had to be a pretty big influence, otherwise why follow in his footsteps and start claiming an L.A hood. Seems like they never really absorbed that real L.A street culture, so to me it makes no sence to claim a Compton hood.
